Once again, the history of HIV can be a guide here. Within ACT Up, there was a contingent that pushed for things like acupuncture trials. It makes sense - when the mainstream abandons you, you're not really sure what helps or what's real.

We know from both HIV and Hepatitis C that combination antiviral therapy for months is a NO BRAINER. The fact they are doing trials with one antiviral for 25 days show they are purposely keeping people sick. These people should be prosecuted as criminals.

This week in illogical clinical trials: RECOVER-VITAL shows no benefit for long COVID with 15-day or 25-day paxlovid. Results appeared in the registry 15 months after primary completion, with no publication or announcement. c19early.org/zimmerman2.html Four trials have tested paxlovid for long COVID treatment: three show no benefit and one remains unreported. Six months ago I built a high end server at home mostly to experiment with AI models. I've since recently repurposed it for running RNA seq and WGS data. Tonight I set up a new pipeline to test drug docking using my GPU. This is based on a paper from a few years ago that simulated drugs against the Sars-Cov-2 Mpro site. I'm going to try and do the same but extend it to all the other important docking sites. Let's see where this goes. Might need some beer for this.

@HalfThePerson @ryan49081185535 In healthy controls the viral load was lower. Measuring the viral load is key. Viral SARS-CoV-2 persistence was not found only in studies testing it in blood, the virus is in tissues, - too much of badly designed studies.

@G_Commish @MichaelCWilder It's my experience, yes, from the previous version of Tollovid (without a capsule, I didn't take the capsule). Before my MCAS got more severe I liked Tollovid very much. I didn't try the recent one as I'm in France, and recently it was sold only for the USA.

@Moooonflash @MichaelCWilder Is that your experience? None of the ingredients in current upgrades Tollovid formulation should touch MCAS. No more titanium dioxide, moved to from soy lecithin to sunflower. The pill is now clear instead of white

I have very severe #MECFS #LongCOVID. My dad is my full-time caretaker and turning 75, and I don’t have other family support. I’m worried about emergencies, especially since I can’t tolerate a hospital or nursing home. I need to figure out how to survive long term. Any ideas?

What really has me concerned is that the other part of the recover autonomic (IVIG) is probably going to fail for the same reasons. Which means folks that might respond to that drug will have a harder time getting it. And all because of the idiots who help to design these trials and fluff themselves on Twitter for being part of the solution.

Think modern medicine has it all figured out? Get bitten by a tick, develop a chronic infection, watch it get misdiagnosed for years and the only ‘treatment’ doctors offer is an SSRI. It doesn’t matter the specialty you see, or how elite the hospital is.
