I don’t get mad at folks for exalting lifestyle medicine over pharmacology. I was once one of those. I thought diet and exercise could cure everything. I was fortunate enough to be able to be skeptical of my own ways. Today, I give value to both in equal measures.

@Moveandstretch I do it a few months a year, strict keto the rest of the time. For over 7 years now, it has managed my T2 diabetes and my fibrmyalgia.

End-of-day question: Did you move your body or just transport it?
There's a difference.
Moving = intentional. Curious. Responsive to what you feel.
Transporting = car to chair to couch to bed.
I make sure every evening includes 5 minutes of stretching before sleep.
Not because I'm disciplined. Because I don't want to wake up feeling like a rusted hinge.
What's your evening movement ritual?

@Moveandstretch I’m 65 and beginning month 4. I’ll never stop. The chronic knee and right shoulder pain are gone with the inflammation gone. Sleep better, lots more energy, not hungry, fasting is easy. No more “food noise” is so freeing!

@Moveandstretch Losing weight any way will do this, I’m glad it worked for you. Didn’t work for me, but calorie reduction did and I’m seeing results too! Lots of paths to health and I’m so glad you found a way that works for your body

Super low carb reversed my diabetes 19 years ago. Carnivore healed everything else 2 years ago. 72, healthy, happy and loving life. If you haven't tried carnivore... do it for a month and you'll never go back.
