Die SEC hat #Solana, #Cardano und #Ripple als illegale Wertpapiere eingestuft. Klagen gegen Coinbase. Klagen gegen Binance. Die Botschaft: Altcoins sind Securities, und wer sie handelt, bricht das Gesetz. Gestern hat die gleiche Behörde das Gegenteil gesagt. Die SEC hat zusammen mit der CFTC die erste offizielle Klassifizierung für Krypto-Assets veröffentlicht (Release 33-11412). 5 Kategorien. Die entscheidende heißt "Digital Commodity" — digitaler Rohstoff. Kein Wertpapier. Keine Securities-Regulierung. CFTC-Zuständigkeit.
