@haidamacu18 @LukeCrane88 Hard agree, most of the recent CS tournaments I usually end up watching Ohnepixel's watchalong co-streams rather than the main tournaments. Feels like it adds something entertaining as a side dish to have alongside the actual event main dish. Same i'd imagine for sim esports

@LukeCrane88 looking at other eSports, like in CS most of the time watchalong streams have more biewers then the main broadcast. They combine the casting with a streamers genuine reaction and gets us the best if both worlds. a mix of both can get you really good content.

The future of Sim Racing from an esports POV is team Watch alongs. Broadcasts just aren’t that entertaining, I have done a lot of both. I can tell you that Watch alongs are much more genuine. Imagine having 20 different ridiculously tribal chats to cycle through.

Marathon will likely continue to wean away from being solely an extraction shooter (i.e. the BR style sponsored kit experimental playlist). Halo had campaign, sweaty PvP and social PvP/forge. Destiny had strikes/RaDs, Crucible and Gambit (lolz). If Marathon is to be a 10 year franchise, then it must follow the success patterns of Bungies predecessors. Extraction should be just one pillar of a more in depth universe of player options.

You're correct that most league ranked games are over/almost over in 30 min by design, that's the snowball-y nature of league. in theory, the option of surrendering makes sense for a snowball-y game like league, my beef with it is people over-relying that option to soft throw super early because they want to FF when one thing goes wrong for one person. If League had much higher comeback potential late when your team is losing hard early (let's say 30-40% chance of winning instead of 5%) but at the cost of the chance of losing some games that your team stomps early, would that be an improvement for your enjoyment?(for both winning and losing)

Mid and late game have their place but are not as skill expressive. The moment a game lasts +32ish minutes its usually because of throws.

Surrender basically has no purpose in ranked anymore. Don't connect for a minute = remake Go afk or dc = game terminated Somebody inting = game terminated All of the reasons why surrender had to exist back in the day are gone. System is much more robust now and can figure out deeply unfair scenarios, everything else is playable.

A drastic drop in values would require a massive drop of demand from nyc residents who can afford these properties for sale. NYC has the most UHNWI people in the world, and the demand for this property has already been high. And that's assuming the majority of foreign investors exit the market over this tax. Which a decent chunk of them will not and will likely pay
