We were “ruining the craft.” Now my generation is doing the same thing with AI instead of embracing it. Here’s the truth: AI won’t make Hollywood bigger. It’ll make it better. For the first time, creative people don’t need permission, budgets, or gatekeepers to bring ideas to life. Small teams. Less suits. More originality. This feels like when I first opened Photoshop—with one layer. We’re early. And in the end, more people will create than ever before. The process changed but the results will be better imo.
