Today I remember SSgt James Malachowski, USMC. I never met this Marine and had he lived I may have never heard his name. However, on 20 Mar 2011, he was killed in action by an IED. When this happens, the Marine Corps dispatches CACO's to notify the next of kin.

@HokiesMBB If you watched the game and saw how physical it was, these stats should stand out. Almost 3x as many FT attempts and almost twice as many fouls called against VT. How Veesaar only had one foul called against him as a big is baffling.
