Also it’s stated since Mark and Oliver are his grandsons they are more durable and they get stronger quicker due to Argalls bloodline. That’s why you’ll see Mark surviving the virus that’s said to be stronger than the original and Oliver getting beat to death and still living but it’ll be others like him but way less durable.

Thragg literally specified Argall has a presumed heir but he suspects that the heir is dead due to the virus but later down the line when Alan does his genocide act with Oliver and Mark gets infected Thragg tries to save him initially till a scientist does a dna test.
