If an AI helps you learn or even code a specific design, great. If that's made clear, there's no problem. The audience deserves to know

Would you say that the fancy cars being built nowadays with the help of machines are any less work of pure imagination and creativity. It's just a tool. You direct it how you want. You will be able to use it however you please.

@ecutruin @johanvinet Ok everyone's an artist now, even a toddler mashing a keyboard. Progress. In the future, I think timelapse recordings of creating art will be a key part of the piece because anything else will be so devalued as to not bother at all.

Most people judge the works they consume based on the aesthetics and the story they tell, not by the effort invested in order to produce it. So, your claim that using more efficient tools devalues art to zero is simply absurd. I can't agree.

@ecutruin @johanvinet oh sure, that's the whole thing. Any self-respecting self-professed artist shouldn't use it, simply for the audiences benefit. Devaluing art to zero with AI requires other artists to 'prove' their art. It's simply a waste of everyone's time.

@Octamed @johanvinet And? What's wrong with that? The term artist is a descriptive term that's used to describe someone that creates art, not some status symbol. It seems like you're just frustrated that people being able to more readily express their imagination makes those that draw less special.
