The more I think about it, the more I hate the design of Crimson Desert's Damiane
For a recent example, at least with Resident Evil Requiem's Grace, you can kinda defend her design with narrative coherence
Whereas there's no excuse, no reason Damiane shouldn't look like this

Another stupid take. Let’s compare Rockstar Games a AAAA studio with a net worth of 20 billion who tend to work on single titles who have a team of over 6000 employees to Crimson Desert (Pearl Absyss) with 200-250 devs and at most a twentieth of the budget spread over several games and IPs.

In Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018): railroad workers are actually working and they nail the track into the ground before moving onto the next nail until they finish. In Crimson Desert (2026): NPCs endlessly hit the same rocks without a purpose while clipping through them.
