@QBCCIntegrity Another $2.9B that could have been spent improving the lives of Australians, gone towards the net zero pipe dream. If you want electricity prices to stop rising, vote One Nation.

BREAKING: The Liberal-Nationals Coalition just voted to spend $2.9 billion in Net-Zero funding. One Nation moved an amendment to cancel all taxpayer funding for Net-Zero programs in a Government Appropriations Bill. The Uniparty will not resile from Agenda 2030 at all cost.

@4mambo Defunding the ABC has nothing at all to do with free speech. Why? Because it is funded by the tax payer. It is not free.

The Liberal-Nationals Coalition just voted to spend $2.9 billion in Net-Zero funding. One Nation moved an amendment to cancel all taxpayer funding for Net-Zero nonsense in a Government Appropriations Bill. It's not surprising that Labor and the Greens vote against it, but we were shocked when the Coalition joined them to let billions in Net-Zero funding sail through with a rubber stamp. I thought the Coalition was opposed to Net-Zero? Yet it looks like they're happy to fund it - to the tune of billions. Only One Nation can be trusted to ditch net-zero, including cutting the billions in subsidies.

We’ve just introduced new legislation into Parliament to help consumers get a fair go at the petrol pump with bigger penalties for false and misleading conduct and cartel behaviour. We’re putting petrol companies on notice. We won’t cop big corporates treating Australian motorists like mugs.

@JEChalmers More inflation coming. More interest rate rises on the horizon. Let me guess, it's because of a war on the other side of the world?

BREAKING: Labor is backing another pay rise for 2.7M minimum wage and award workers. Today we've made a submission to the Annual Wage Review recommending the Fair Work Commission award an economically sustainable real wage increase to Australia’s award workers. The minimum wage is now $175 a week higher than when we came to office. This is just another way we're helping with the cost of living, alongside all the support we’re rolling out like tax cuts and cheaper medicines.

Only Labor has stood steadfast against the divisive politics of Hanson, Barnaby Joyce and their growing band of rats and rejects. What is also clear is that only Labor can stop One Nation. Labor puts One Nation last on our how to vote cards. We have been doing so for the entire time they have existed as a political party.

Labor is moving to phase out cash, quietly closing branches, killing ATMs, and pushing everything digital. This is the slow death of cash. Once it's gone, your money is fully tracked, programmable, and switchable by the government. No privacy. No freedom in a blackout, cyber attack, or bank glitch. Cash is liberty. Don't let them phase it out. Fight to keep it.

Australia went from 5,723 EV sales in February 2025 to 11,110 in February 2026. That’s not a collapse. That’s not a fad. That’s not “nobody wants them.” And that was before the fuel crisis started doing free marketing for EVs.

If "green energy" is so cheap - why do taxpayers need to give Rio $2billion ? We have never before been governed by such a pack of incompetent fools.

@mmph253545 @TMFScottP Yes. Problem is, when you say "govt pays" it is tax payers paying. Again, if taxpayers are providing the money for the bailout, they should be given a share in the ownership of the company.

@OneNationCCoast @TMFScottP I assume the issue is that the company would prefer to close the plant and be done with it, the only reason to flog a dead horse is when the govt pays you to.

Business: "Minister, my business is failing. I can't or won't raise equity. And I can't or won't take a loan on commercial terms" Minister: "Well, we can't have that! My friend the taxpayer will happily fund your failing venture and/or give you a better deal than the banks!"
Scott Phillips@TMFScottP

@coasthealthhub A stake. If no-one else will provide them with a loan, the Australian government (taxpayer!) shouldn't be taking that risk, IMO.

Now if “green energy” was the cheapest option available would Rio Tinto need a $2B subsidy to use it? Of course not. This isn’t a market transition at all, it’s a taxpayer-funded one. This is how we get to $1T debt levels.

Lots of posts ridiculing that One Nation could “never form” government. You don’t need to be the engine to change direction — the rudder does that. Minor parties don’t need control. They just need enough pressure to steer the ship. Keep on voting for Minor parties to steer us 💪

“A $2 billion taxpayer-funded subsidy has been announced for Rio Tinto’s Queensland aluminium smelter, as the Albanese government doubles down on its commitment to save local manufacturing with another bailout. The rescue package marks the government’s fourth intervention to prop up a struggling metals processor as Australian manufacturers struggle to compete internationally due to high operating costs. In return for the funding, Rio will underwrite around $7 billion of investment in clean energy for the Queensland electricity grid. The Albanese government last year contributed to bailouts of Glencore’s Queensland copper smelter and refinery in October, Nyrstar’s smelters in Port Pirie and Hobart in August, and the collapsed Whyalla steelworks in February.” ••••••••••••••••••••• Why is Bowen and Albanese bailing out foreign owned companies (even though listed on the ASX, Rio is essentially foreign owned) in return for them investing in foreign made renewables? What’s even more infuriating is that a major reason for these companies needing a bailout is because renewables are driving the price of energy up in the first place. If the government allowed companies to use our home grown coal deposits we wouldn’t be in this mess. People First intends to abolish all subsidies for renewables and plough the savings back into tax cuts for Australian taxpayers. Check out our polices here: vist.ly/4v2zh

Pauline Hanson has called to defund the ABC. "There's an easy answer to all this. Defund it, the 1.2 billion a year, then they have to re-apply for the jobs and be on subscription only. Keep the ABC radio going ... but the rest of it, shut 'em down and subscription only."
