@mikebrewer1982 Ahh okay. Then yeah you can burn it. I think it’s a week or two max.
Just wanted to make sure you weren’t missing the opportunity for a top prospect later. If you already have access to them then the waiver claim is less valuable .. take your shots
English

@PepTalkFantasy If there not on the espn player pool then it goes to waivers. Most prospects are in the pool
English

Didier Fuentes is down getting stretched out. I like the idea of saving innings with these young guys for the end of the season but the Braves have help coming later. Let Didier cook now. I think that’s what they’re doing and they will get creative later
He’s a good stash in 12-15 team leagues
Thomas Nestico@TJStats
Didier Fuentes did not skip a beat in his first start in AAA, striking out 7 in 3.2 one-hit IP The Braves top pitching prospect was unstoppable in Spring Training and is being stretched out as a starter to hopefully provide a bump to an ailing Braves rotation. He looks great!
English

@mikebrewer1982 Once a prospect debuts do they go to waivers? Just trying to get clarity on when you would use the waiver in your league. Just drops?
English

@PepTalkFantasy I’m stashing snelling as well lol. Yes I can make pickups without using the claim
English

@mikebrewer1982 Ehh can you make pick-ups without using the claim or is this an: all players on waivers until Sunday type thing. Meaning I like him but Snelling is higher on my list but you may need to wait a month or so
English

@PepTalkFantasy I have the number one waiver claim in an espn 12 team points league. Do I use it on Didier?
English

@TStoop He was realllllyyyy bad. They needed to rebuild his swing
English

Dylan Crews is standing taller. This allows him to move into better posture. Now he should be able to rotate more efficiently and have adjustability
It’ll take some time but this is a great adjustment for him.
Baseball Unstitched@BaseUnstitched
Dylan Crews, while still struggling with swing and miss in AAA, hasn’t lost his power This ball was TOASTED
English

@BaseUnstitched @SleeperNats @NationalsSource Totally! Very encouraging. He’s got to feel so much freedom
English

@PepTalkFantasy @SleeperNats @NationalsSource He needs it and that’s okay. When he comes up and starts being more consistent people will recognize the choice
English

@enosarris @dvond I had a good thread going in-game. They're zoning his high fastballs and he's not able to work down in the zone with anything else.
The sweeper didn't appear to off-set their vision either. Gleyber was looking up and was able to put a good swing on the sweeper
English

@dvond In fantasy no real reason to hold unless it’s a really deep league. I think he could still find something, still has good velo and a wide mix, but obviously something is wrong
English

Walker always had the elite bat speed, there are some swing characteristics, that if they hold, suggest that his bat path is different this year. More tilt, more upward angle on the ball.

Jordan Walker DEMOLISHES a grand slam 113.7 MPH, 459 feet
English

@enosarris His at bats are better. He's in better positions to see the ball and making in at-bat adjustments. Something I haven't seen from him
English

AL East Notes
Here I focus on players that may actually be available in your fantasy leagues.
Why I've been underwhelmed with Dylan Beavers and what I want to see from Marcelo Mayer

English

@bdentrek He may stick In the pen. I just don’t think he has closer stuff. In his current state
English

@bdentrek That’s pretty common. Kris Bubic as a recent example
English

@FAmmiranteTFJ Pinch hit for the the 4th because they brought in a LHP was frustrating to see. It's early enough, let him see one.
Vierling drove in the run but man, let Keith start to grow when you can
English

@Vishal70191934 No necessarily but I would be aggressive looking for matchups. For example, snagging Stanton or Grisham in good weeks while at home. Games at coors etc . When you ask questions like this, the answer is probably stream, if the rules allow it
English

@PepTalkFantasy yup dont need any 3B with JJ and bichette. any other OFs you’d look at over walker?

English

Jordan Walker
x.com/MLB/status/204…
The at-bats have been better. The previous at-bat he fell behind 0-2. Was late on 4s and I could tell he was frustrated with that mistake. He then worked the count to 2-2 and hit the ball hard. Huge win..
Then next AB smashes this. Not all Wins are hits, for the brain.

Here’s Alex Cobb describing thoracic outlet surgery, which he ranked as the worst surgery he’d had (and he had a bunch) nytimes.com/athletic/47781…

Just a reminder that when we were super excited that he could return in April, that was not a guarantee that he would be the same version of Wheeler
