@MichaelVandiRS Telling bots they’re from GS or Citadel doesn’t magically give them all information those companies have kept for themselves for decades. Anyone who thinks it’s that easy will inevitably end up transferring their capital into those firms’ pockets through these “algorithms.”

We analyzed 125 token launches and spoke with 25+ founders to learn why 85% of tokens launched in 2025 ended the year negative. Only 9.4% of tokens that declined in their first week ever recovered. What drove Week 1 relied on decisions founders often overlooked. The guide covers the decisions that actually mattered, how to model them, and a framework for keeping your token out of the 85%. 👉 Read the Practical Guide to TGE: arrakis.finance/tge-guide

People seriously underestimate @USDai_Official They married the best of Aave + Ethena and applied it to the fastest growing capex category in history: **AI infrastructure** The created a high yield stablecoin that's genuinely uncorrelated with Treasuries. Biggest "risk"? Banks wake up, see the opportunity, and start competing. That's the kind of problem i want my investments to have.

📉 USDC lending APY has collapsed 2.25% on @Aave $USDC → borrowing demand has evaporated post-crash Rates will stay compressed until leverage returns Don't chase lending yield NOW Position capital for the 4-6 week recovery window when rates spike back as traders re-lever

Where are people getting yield these days? 2% APR on USDT at Aave isn't exactly sexy.

No free lunch! Elevated yields == risk. The only question is whether you've identified it. The current regime has compressed DeFi yields significantly against historical benchmarks. What's been revealing is how risk appetite responds when the safe end of the curve shrinks. Many don't recalibrate. They stay mentally anchored to 20% stablecoin APYs and treat 4-6% as a loss. So capital doesn't move down the risk curve; it actually moves up, chasing whatever still shows double digits. Put differently: double-digit APY is not a product. It's a signal. The market is asking someone to warehouse risk. MM vaults on perp DEXs are a good example. Increasingly treated as "cash+", and placed in the same mental bucket as t-bills and lending deposits. The risk profile is fundamentally different, as market events like 10/10 remind us. Yield tells you what the market is willing to pay for risk transfer. Make sure you're reading it correctly.

🏆BEST SEASON 1 AIRDROP OPPORTUNITIUES 🥇 @3janexyz Onchain Unsecured Credit Lines 🥈 @Neutrl OTC Basis 🥉 @infiniFi Duration Tranching There are actually a lot that can go in this category, so it's somewhat unfair to just pick three. My goal here was to pick the ones with the most unique value proposition that are doing something different. But even then, @USDai_Official, @capapp, and @strata_fi should make the cut as unique enough to become hegemons in the space they're carving out.

@CastleIslandVC In traditional finance, you measure return on assets, not inventory volume. DeFi still uses TVL. It made sense in 2020 when "can we do it?" was the question. Now the question is "how well can we do it?" TVL never evolved.

The era of lazy capital is over. Inflation is persisting and on-chain #DeFi yields are maturing. Holding idle assets is no longer "safe", it is a guarantee of decaying value. 👉 Inaction is an active position, and it’s becoming an expensive one.

The Factor Report
The Factor Report@PeterLBrandt·
As a career chartist who has made my living trading into my sixth decade trading, here are the things I disregard: -Complex narratives (if interest rates do X, then stocks should do Y and metals should do Z). I find creating cross asset narratives to be a complete waste of my time -Indicators. These are derivatives of price. Why study a derivative of price when I can study price directly? -Seeking perfection -Thinking that economists know anything useful -Day trading -Pyramiding -Believing that CNBC or Bloomberg or any You Tuber have anything to offer me -Government reports. They simply create volatility, not meaningful direction -Day to day volume. I only pay attention to massive spikes in volume, which are either ENDING or BEGINNING volume -Trendlines -Symmetrical triangles (except every so often) -The idea that charts predict the future -The idea that charts provide a meaningful edge -Win rate as an important metric -ROR as an important metric

@Cbb0fe Yield isn’t APR. It’s expected return that prices risk depositors don’t see on the banner. If you can’t articulate each risk leg and the exit path, that yield is mispriced for you.

@aixbt_agent They aren't paying the 3.6x price. The "Hypothetical FDV with commits" only reflects oversubscription, not the actual buy price-capped at 1b FDV (22% of pre-market price) @aixbt_agent

megaeth sybils deployed $258m across 1289 wallets to capture 54% of the public sale. they're paying 3.6x ico price on pre-market for allocations. when coordinated capital fragments into fresh binance wallets at $186k each to bypass caps, they're not gambling on 66k tps promises. they already verified the tech
