@millennialwit @ShitChester I personally have never been harassed and abused in there in 20 years. But then again never use it late at night. Would never choose to walk through ANY underpass late at night and wouldn’t expect a crossing to be put in for this eventuality to the detriment of traffic.

@Go_CheshireWest As a pedestrian and driver resident of Chester for 20 years have absolutely no issue with using the underpass. Never once have I thought “I wish there was a crossing instead of this underpass.” As a driver, no more near misses with people on the roundabout in wrong lanes.

🚦The temporary crossing trial at St Oswald’s Way/Fountains roundabout has now ended and will be removed on the morning of 25 June–we will review data before a decision is made for a permanent crossing at this location-pedestrians will be able to cross using the subway as before

@ScouseRepublic I couldn’t sleep last night for worrying about the victims. So so happy that today those injured are recovering, although sure there will be mental and physical injuries to heal for a long time. ❤️

Throw the book at the piece of shit. So happy that all those injured are in a stable condition (according to police reports). It’s unbelievable that no one has died. It could have been absolutely catastrophic. As always this City come together as one. Try and remember the amazing antics before it now and keep sharing positivity ❤️
