Because this is such a fresh experience, and with many possible directions we could take, we chose to launch with a single mode based on the squad size that has proven to be the most popular across all of our other modes. For now, our focus is on understanding how players feel about the core experience. We've heard the feedback and will continue the dialogue.

In other words, some will take better players as blabbering idiots who are either cheating or used exploits to reach ranks.

Sponsorships, more support for competitive side = more money and chance to build your name. Devs are siding more with casual than with better players. And players are filled with mix views.

I remember last year when that 10 vs 10 Chaos Nuketown came out, few of friends got LMM which lasted 2 weeks, didn’t play ranked at all and you restricted them from ranked accusing them for boosting in mp pubs, which was wild. Hey Teep! First of all, we're sorry that you're encountering this type of behavior. We know how much time you dedicate to Ranked Play and this really sucks to see. When it comes to teaming, we've been actively refining our behavioral detections since last summer. Full transparency, it looks like a simple thing to solve for at a surface level but it's actually a pretty complex one when addressing it on a larger scale. We don't want to give away exactly how we're detecting it for obvious reasons, but we're confident in the variables we're correlating to determine that someone is teaming. Know that we do a full sweep of our Ranked Play environment every week, with additional time invested to protect the integrity of the Top 250 leaderboard. Teams we catch are banned from Ranked Play and have rewards removed from their accounts - with more punitive actions for repeat offenders. The good news here is that the match you've provided appeared in our results. That said, we want to keep evolving this process so that we address this behavior faster and more frequently. Hope that sheds some light on the situation!

@RavenSoftware Ranked Play on Resurgence works better than on big map. And let it stay there as it is now. But, for Avalon and new Blackout, don’t merge it with Warzone and let it be it’s unique thing, a battle royal mode. Not some hybrid of that and TDM. Otherwise, you are losing numbers.

We acknowledge that this initial launch for the mode isn't on par with the expectations our competitive community has. We're already consolidating feedback across various channels to make sure we address some of the most important points including squad size, the cash economy, TTK, rewards, and more. With that said, our team has decided that we'll be turning Ranked Play: Resurgence back on tomorrow morning, March 6, at 10 AM PT. Although we certainly encourage everyone to give Iron Gauntlet's beta a proper chance, we also don't want to deny players the competitive experience they enjoy most.
