@imkontroversial@venkat_fin9 He's being critical of our supreme leader and self styled finance queen. Nothing g wrong there. Better than being Andha Bhakt
A salaried person gets an IT notice for a mutual fund SIP redemption that "needs explanation." A politician buys 10 properties in cash. No notice. No explanation sought. No action. Welcome to India.
@ChetanAhimsa I think what he was trying to say is all the people who vote for BJP are dumb! But everything is fair in love, war and elections just as @narendramodi , @AmitShah , @RahulGandhi , Momta B etc keep crossing the lines
M Kharge’s reference to Gujaratis (~80% literacy rate) as ‘illiterate’ reveals arrogance & elitism of INC
~2/3 of states & India’s pop are under BJP rule— are they all ‘illiterate’ too?
INC must get off its high horse & realise it’s always been main impediment to India’s growth

@AMIT_GUJJU@kharge But @AmitShah and @narendramodi every day spites South India. What's wrong with what Large said. Perhaps he meant few people in the govt who are from Gujarat but not all. But in election, war and love anything is fair.
Now, Mallikarjun Kharge claims Gujaratis and North Indians are “illiterate.”
When voters reject the Indian National Congress, they choose to belittle them.
As a Gujarati, I strongly reject this disrespect. Apologies mr @kharge 😡
@mepritijain In the US bagels are popular breakfast item. Here even dogs won't eat them. Indian version of bagle is softer for Indian pallette.
Likewise Upma on Dosa is a disaster for me. I thinks it's called pesarattu. It's neither a good dosa nor a good uppitu. But taste differs.
Unpopular opinion, but the best dosas in India arent from Bangalore (no offence to Benne dosas but it is what is is 🤷🏼♀️)
Idli might still be up for debate, but Hyderabad wins this. Every single time !
That thin, crisp dosa, the ghee, that perfect caramelisation, the iconic upma topping… it just hits different.
Nothing else in India comes close !!
@mepritijain@venky19756799 I'm a Bangalorean of 70+ years. Seen all South places but nothing to beat Bangalore in dosa, idli, wada and filter coffee. Only thing hyderabad has in dosa that's different is Chutneys Steam Dosa.
@venky19756799 I've lived in Bangalore for 4 years, and almost tried every single place that the locals too and the dosas there are good too. Just that I liked the Hyd ones more.
@mepritijain That's the best joke I've heard in a long time. Hyderabad Dosas??? Nowhere you get as good as Bangalore. There are verities within Masala dosa - Vidyarthi Bhavan, MTR, CTR, Janata, Krishna Bhavan....each ones different and finger licking. Hyderabad they put garlic in everything
@nehaGurung1692 That's such a wrong notion. It's not just idli and dosa breakfast. We have a verity of dosa (masala /adai/ moong/ onion/ rava etc) probably once a week. Different verities of idli once a week. Verities of uppitu, avalakki, Shavige, pongal more often. Bread is once a quarter.
He’s not reading anything here. Just look at that backlight placed under the papers for the photo. Think a bit about how this was actually shot.
Saheb would’ve told the team, “Let’s take a picture of me going through some files.” Then the cameraman probably said there isn’t enough lighting. So someone suggested, “Let’s keep a mobile flashlight under the papers, it’ll give a nice effect. Meanwhile, Sir, you just look at the file.”
And then another genius in the room must’ve said, “Sir, hold a pen also… will look more original.”
Think about this man, who is a full time actor, part time Prime Minister. All of this drama is unravelling and all the fools who supported this man will hang their head in shame.
@Vikrchan I'm a Bangalorean, but visited & lived several places in India & abroad. Every place I attempted to learn local language, though my accent was made fun of. I enjoyed every culture and always felt a tinge of sadness leaving almost each one of those places. Miss everyone of them.
There are two kinds of people who come to Bengaluru..
The ones which come , love the city explore its nice things and things to do , attempt to learn the language , get involved .. try to be local and stay back
The other kind is here to just crib about the city, talk about everything that is bad and what’s best in their own hometowns and stay back ..
@bettadahoovuu Induction? Why is the heating area red?
Been using Induction stoves for over 6 years now. Very safe and convenient, but never seen it getting red.
I visited Taj Mahal for the first time in my life.
My hometown is in Kanpur, but I never visited Taj Mahal.
To be honest, I was mesmerized and amazed by the architecture and the beauty of the building from the outside.
HOWEVER
I was heavily disappointed with the maintenance and upkeep of the surroundings.
And why’s the ticket price ₹50 and ₹250? Charge 10x of this if you want, but do not waste the potential of such an amazing tourist/tourism-magnet.
@Samhitab4u@ipl NEVER excited me. Watched one of early ones where kohli, Gayle and De Villers played. Its always felt like well rehearsed entertainment than sports. @BCCI is ready to make any amount of fixed to make it entertaining than real sports.
