I can tell physical paladins are feeling backed into a corner, because they're digging up whatever bullshit they can at this point. Like Marvel Tokon not being supported in all countries, even though the internet mob caused this exact enforcement. During the Helldivers 2 PC login fiasco, activists said Sony should be sued for selling games in regions where PSN isn't supported. Sony complied with their demands by region-locking those countries to avoid lawsuits. Now those same activists are blaming Sony for the policy they bullied the company into adopting. 💀 Or bringing up how PlayStation will delete your account after 36 months of inactivity. Meanwhile other companies like Apple or Google delete your shit after 12 to 24 months. This is basic cybersecurity and data privacy compliance (like GDPR) to clear out abandoned, hackable accounts. Things are looking desperate. This is the equivalent of resorting to biting and eye gouging during a fight.

@KassLover1 This is the dumbest thing I’ve seen in a while. But even using your fuckass logic, he specifically states that the game was made to take longer than 2 hours, but that a bunch of speedrunners found the game and raced through it in less than 2. If you’re making a short game 1/2

@allie__voss Haven’t read a word of Dune literature, didn’t really jive with the movies on a first watch. Watched Dune: Prophecy, went back and was hooked. I do agree that all the Star Wars trilogies are ass though, but I enjoy their standalone movies and shows quite a bit!

So far the only cult series that was truly worth it was Lord of the Rings Everyone lied about Star Wars, you kinda had to be there for Harry Potter, and Dune is a bunch of people with sunk cost fallacy having read the books

Yeah... morale rules are stupid. A GM shouldn't need rules to tell them how to roleplay their monsters.

@TheDMLair As a DM I don’t like running player characters, I usually just have them not be there, usually I can come up with some way to get them away from the situation at the start of the session, but if not, they are either gone or just don’t contribute anything to the situation.

What should you do when a D&D player misses a session? You've got three options: 1. Another player runs their character. 2. The DM runs their character. 3. The character simply isn't there. I've used all three over the years. I've found one of them is clearly the best choice. What do you think?

The PlayStation 6 will not have a disc drive. It will be an entirely digital console and I imagine that Xbox will follow suit. Game ownership will soon be a thing of the past. I’d say vote with your wallets but the reality is that it won’t matter. It’s a tragedy.

@Bosslogic The only reason to get a console is what the main reason has always been: exclusives. It used to be affordability, but that gets less and less true with each gen. Xbox doesn’t even have exclusives anymore so there’s really no reason to get one.

I haven’t mentioned this too much here, but recently I lost my PlayStation account and all my digital games to a hacker. But guess what? All my physical games are still sitting comfortably on my shelf. Your digital games are tied to an account, your physical games aren’t.

Holy fuck can people on my feed shut up about PlayStation discontinuing discs? Discs have not been used widely in the PC space for 15+ years. This is not the end of the world. Relax. And if you really don’t like it, get a PC.

@marvguy_ Ye daredevil not using the Kevlar cloth is stupid I agree. I just also think it’s stupid that someone as smart as Bruce Wayne, fighting a rogues gallery as dangerous as Batman’s as well as just armed individuals, would do so in a spandex suit.

@ThatRetroWizard It would make sense. They’re fucking superheroes. They can dodge or outsmart opponents. Armor doesn’t really matter since the writer can just write them raking damage. Daredevil literally canonized thing Kevlar lined cloth, yet he wears a bulky suit. They’re superheroes not swat.

I’ve said it a million times: if raimi’s suit didn’t work well in the 2000s, Spidey would currently be wearing a suit like this
