@Boro Another dreadful performance. A good 20 mins at the start but cant take our chances then very little. Seemed like we didnt have any fight near the end to try and go get that winner. Nothing on the bench to shake it up. Players like browne and conway just no where near good enough

@Boro Get what we deserve. Stick to your system all you want but it clearly doesn’t work v a low block and how have we not learnt after our last two home games. Keep bringing on 10s with no pace or height and hope low crosses some how find there way through 10 players in their own box

Everyone raves about Hayden Hackney, and rightly so, but his midfield partner who’s just 1 year older is also sensational. Morris is press evasive, has a nice tempo to his game AND has such a brilliant variety to his passing. I think the majority of premier league teams need a pass first midfielder over a ball carrier - Morris would be great for that 🤷‍♂️

@Boro Well got a bit lucky in end. Got nothing against burg but taking off gilbert when they swapped a mid for a defender felt we really lost the centre of the park battle. Good fight back for the win after what felt like was more likely a loss coming!

@TurtleDisabled @Boro Definitely agree on that but shouldn't have came to it, For me why was fry on the bench if he wasn't sound to come on after the injury, Silveria on his weak foot in a position he's not used to just didn't seem to work, Clearly a depth problem too

@Boro Good point given how poor we were second half. Some good stuff in the middle third in the first half but woeful decision making in the final third no teamwork up there just heads down. Silvera crossing was horrific and ref was shocking but probs would have lost last year so UTB

He was getting the ball and not doing anything with it. Wasnt the only one but if you look back at his ratings he was often in big games near the lowest

Also last season he only got like 1 goal and 1 assist v the top 12. He’ll do well against poor teams but never really showed up v top

Every time I see a pundit or expert talking about Carrick I feel like I’m being gaslighted. There is no way I watched the same Carrick as them. The narrative always seems to be “Boro should be careful what they wish for”. As opposed to whatever last season was? It was horrific!

As a championship team never gonna have 100% profit/revenue of a sale going back into transfers. On paper whittaker showed a bit of ambition but has flopped so far. You dont really know someone until you’ve lived with them and people usually wait a year/2 first depending on age

@TurtleDisabled hes played as the deeper 6 43 games out of his last 50, so i would say thats a fair statement. His defensive mind can be worked on, he’s obviously not the finished product

Why aren’t we actively looking into Hayden Hackney considering our budget? Best midfielder in the championship this season, plays as the deeper 6 in a double pivot which would accommodate bruno. +been under Carrick’s wing the past three years👀 #MUFC
