A stray Elephant that terrorized Kamwenge communities has been captured and relocated to Kibale NP in Mainaro, Duran subcounty. After days of tracking and dramatic encounters, a dedicated team of UWA safely sedated a bull of 3496kgs estimated to be 20yrs old and fitted it with a GPS collar for monitoring and finally released successfully. A major win for community safety and wildlife conservation. #ConservingForGenerations
