All the rich commies going to Cuba to preserve the oppressive legacy of Fidel Castro and keep the proles down is so on the nose I feel like we're watching a South Park episode.

Liberal white women’s love of Islam should be proof of a mass psychosis worthy of scholarly study.

For every vanilla application of AI, there’s a pornographic one—like ChatGPTease, designed to help pornstars titillate fans. On “The Weekend Intelligence”, we explore how the technology is changing the porn industry economist.com/podcasts/2026/…

This isn’t accurate. Türkiye hasn’t “advanced” anywhere since 1974 - it has maintained the status quo as a guarantor power protecting Turkish Cypriots. The UK bases aren’t there to deter Türkiye. The UK and Türkiye are NATO allies with strong defence and trade ties. The real issue is political. The UK has spent decades accommodating the Greek Cypriot side while sidelining Turkish Cypriots - and now that same side is openly challenging British sovereignty with EU backing. That’s the risk. Not Türkiye.

Europe spent years debating whether the energy transition was affordable. Spain quietly answered the question: gas now sets its electricity price in only 7% of hours (in Italy is 90%). Strategic autonomy must be built in advance, in wind farms, solar parks, and grid investment, or it isn’t built at all. The countries still exposed to fossil fuel price shocks didn’t lack the warnings. They lacked the will.

All the complaints were rejected at first triage by the BBC. The response itself is biased by maintaining the pretence that Connell is female. The BBC Complaints Unit is as much a problem as Woman’s Hour. There are a couple of sensible people there but it’s run on the principle of affirmation. It’s a lot of effort to go through all the BBC stages to get to the ECU but you can make it easier by not overthinking each fresh progression of your complaint. If you work on the basis that it will be rejected (which it will be) it’s faster, and you can save your energy for the final go at the Executive Complaints Unit. Remember that there was a response like this rejecting the initial flood of complaints about Martine Croxall saying pregnant people are women. That was overturned when 20 people pursued it all the way to the ECU. This response isn’t the end of it. It’s just that there were so many complaints they had to issue something. bbc.co.uk/contact/compla…
