5 weeks ago I had an emergency heart procedure in Venezuela and a pacemaker fitted. 2 weeks ago I flew back to Scotland. My GP saw me instantly and sent an URGENT referral to cardiology at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. Tumbleweed. I phoned ERI today. After a 25 minute hold I was told the cardio waiting list person is off work till Tuesday. NHS Scotland is really bad.

According to Paul Hutcheon most Scottish Labour MSPs want Andy Burnham to replace Keir Starmer because Burnham gets devolution. Would this be the same Andy Burnham who attacked the FM during the pandemic after she imposed a travel ban when a Covid outbreak hit Manchester? He didn't 'get' devolution then and he won't get it if he replaces Starmer.

Paul Hutcheon tells BBC Scotland that Scottish Labour want Andy Burnham to replace Keir Starmer because they want someone who understands devolution. So why have they spent the last two years insisting Starmer was good for Scotland when they knew he wasn't? Grangemouth could have been saved if they'd been honest.

On May 3rd businesswoman Marie Macklin appeared on The Sunday Show to discuss criticism of Malcom Offord. She was presented as neutral. She attacked Ross Greer and the SNP. The day after the vote she revealed she was a good friend of Offord and supported him during the campaign. Once again BBC Scotland has questions to answer about the presentation of guests as neutral on political programmes when they are anything but. In this case it's worse given Macklin appeared during an actual election campaign and made several politically motivated comments that favoured Reform and negatively impacted the Greens and SNP.
