One other point is being missed in the Offord/Sarwar story. Sarwar isn't just calling Offord a liar. He's also calling journalists who reported the story back in February liars as well.

There is plenty of circumstantial evidence supporting Offord's claim that Sarwar wanted a deal. 1. It was reported by journalists in February that Sarwar was open to a deal. 2. Labour had an event in the very location Offord said he was approached by Sarwar. 3. Sarwar has form publicly ruling out deals and pacts only for Labour to enter secret agreements at council level.

BOOM 💥‼️ This is utterly damming and damaging to Sarwar and Labour ‼️ In one line it blows his cover wide apart and exposes his attempts to deceive the public. It exposes his true dishonesty desperation and disingenuousness Easily biggest revelation of campaign ‼️

The claim Sarwar wanted to work with Reform to stop the SNP shouldn't come as a surprise. Scottish Labour had a similar secret agreement with the Tories in 2021 where each reduced campaigning in constituencies where the other was the SNP's closest rival.

Sarwar has said Offord's 'version of events' were nonsense. Version of events? This is an implicit admission that they *did* have a conversation. The question Sarwar needs to be asked is who approached who and was stopping the SNP mentioned at all? This is looking bad for Sarwar.
