@GovLauraKelly Maybe you can explain where all our tax dollars go. Property taxes were intended to take care of schools and local needs. Gas taxes were intended to take care of roads...how about you approve a full state audit by a independent third party and show us exactly where $$$ go

I just vetoed the flat tax experiment. I support responsible tax cuts, but I refuse to sign a reckless plan that would put our schools, roads, and economy at risk while doing next to nothing for the middle class.

At brunch in Parker, Colorado wearing a K-State hoodie and a guy came up and introduced himself and wanted to talk about our newest QB commit Blake Barnett. He spoke glowing of him. Sounds like this kid is legit! Good to talk some K-State football on a Saturday morning! #EMAW

I'm all in on giving members of Congress raises. I say $300k for the House and $500k for the Senate. BUT...
They must agree to the following:
Term limits: 6 terms in House and 3 terms in the Senate. That's 30 years of service for the state's best of the best.
Other Income: None allowed and strict boundaries on all investments, not just in the stock market. That's why the pay is so generous.
Age limits: No one may file for an election that will take place on or after their 72nd birthday.
Legal exemptions: Members of Congress must face the same legal and civil consequences as all citizens. They also may not offer themselves or receive benefits of any sort that exceed the equivalent average benefit used by citizens.
Campaign Reform: Lift barriers preventing third and alternative parties from appearing on ballots and receiving federal funds.

Representative Patrick McHenry, has just said that $174,000 isn't enough money for members of Congress, adding that "Most of us don't have money". The Republican added that there was a need to increase Congressional salaries “to attract credible people to the office.”

It’s honestly exhausting to do the offensive coordinator fight with K-State fans. I can’t remember the last one anyone appreciated.
They brought signs to fire Dana and Del. They hated Andre Coleman. They hardly gave Collin Klein the light of day to start.
I’m not saying I’m perfect and don’t criticize coaches. But good lord, Lincoln Riley isn’t walking through the door.

Conor Riley had… • A first time starting, true freshman QB • Top pass catcher opted out • A receiver room that clearly needs improvement • One of two key running backs gone • To face a top 25 scoring defense and No. 26 total defense His offense scored 28 points, 8 more than NC State’s average. He wasn’t perfect. Some of the runs were way too predictable. But people are painting it as he was awful because he’s an offensive line coach and that isn’t sexy.

I started covering the Cats full-time in 1995. Since then I've missed just one bowl, the Pinstripe Bowl due to weather.
Not attending the Pop-Tarts Bowl is necessary due to my health but I'm miss being on location. F cancer.
We will be doing a FitzKast on Thursday instead.
