@Jason 💯 Groceries have been bonkers. We have switched to shopping at Lidl. It’s allowed our family to save an average of $200 per weekly grocery trip.

Three bags of groceries—$350 (!!) [ some high end items like lox, but my lord everything is $12 now ]

@shriyanevatia I’m biased because we lived there for 8 years but love the Cobble Hill area in BK. We had our first two there. New Playground was an amazing daycare for our girls. If we stayed they would have gone to PS29 which is a great school. Lots of parks, activities, food, retail, etc.

@chamath I think it has more to do more with quality of life metrics and tax systems. With hybrid/remote work value in place is able to be reprioritized - income/savings stretch farther, affordable housing, slower pace, access to no/shorter commutes, and outdoor amenities year round.

Is the major differences between these two groups only ideology? Or is it something else like genetics, health, etc etc that I’m not understanding?

@imchristiepitts Our oldest had same issue. Started at 6 mths, didn’t stop until she was 4 when we moved out of the city. She is celiac and now we suspect it could have been diet related. I always carried multiple changes of clothes, a couple gallons of water, sanitizing wipes, and barf bags/cup.
