Les cuento que hace 12 años cree este sencillo sitio web: valor-dolar.cl La idea era que los chilenos pudieran hacer fácilmente sus conversiones de moneda. Cuando empecé había solamente calculadoras que mostraban: "1 Peso Chileno equivale a $0,001 Dolar", inentendible! Por eso vi la necesidad, y fue un completo éxito!

Uno piensa que ante la necesidad del Fisco de hacer caja, la cantidad de deudores del CAE y las malas prácticas de las entidades a la hora de demandar para cobrar la garantía (y a veces siquiera demandar), lo ideal es llegar a una decision que convenga a algunas partes: Al Estado para que recaude, al deudor para que pague una cantidad posible. Pero algunos la hacen más dificil que la chucha achorándose por no querer pagar. ¿Que es eso de andar posteando tus fotos en Europa publicamente pa decir que no vai a pagar? ¿Son aweonaos? ¿Creen que quedan de rebeldes o de justicieros haciendo esa wea? Parece que no cachan que se cagan al resto.

Es un escándalo, muero de la rabia. Yo pagué 10 años mi crédito universitario (mismas condiciones CAE), ganando harto menos q eso, con 4 hijos, 1 con discapac, casada, separada. Nunca es fácil, pero jamás se me ocurrió no cumplir con mi responsabilidad. Los odio, frescos de raja.

Efficiency only possible in the Netherlands (sci-fi for Germany): Registering a car on my name, apart from the fact that the sales guy can do it all online in one minute, at some point he did have to call the motor vehicle authority - someone immediately picks up and already can see which car he’s filing for online. Issue resolved in 1 minute.

If there’s one thing the Spanish Hacienda hates more than anything, it’s when I travel. I’ve been traveling around the world since around 2010, usually once a year, visiting and documenting architecturally relevant buildings. I publish all this content on my own websites, but my videos have also been used by the BBC, Euronews… and my photos by almost every major architecture publisher. This is not my main business, but it is a profitable one. And to remain profitable, there are expenses. BUT Hacienda apparently does not like this. In 2018 I spent a week in NYC documenting 20+ buildings. My hotel was $220 per night. Someone at Hacienda, who probably hasn’t traveled much, decided that was too much and that I could only count 91€ per night as a deductible expense. In 2021 I spent a few weeks in Dubai covering Expo 2020. That time they didn’t have an issue with the hotel, but they told me I could not deduct the car rental. I would love to challenge whoever made that decision to walk around Dubai. I would bet anything that when they review my 2024 invoices, they’ll “find” another one of these nonsense. Because trust me, there’s nothing else to find.

You can’t make this up… I just received a notification from Hacienda. They want to review all my income and expense invoices from 2024. I bet they won’t find a thing out of place, but they’ll still come back with some nonsense claim that some of my expenses are not business-related and that I owe them a few hundred €. Nothing really worth fighting them over. I also bet the “suspicious” expense will be travel-related. Hacienda hates when I travel. It always has (anyone else feels this way?) I’m leaving this in writing so that when the resolution comes back, nobody can say I didn’t call it.

No because I talk directly with my sites Each of my sites (almost, I'm still migrating) is now on their own Hetzner VPS Like Hoodmaps.com for example, on that VPS I have Claude Code and github.com/RichardAtCT/cl… I asked Claude Code to install that as a system daemon (so it starts on boot, and auto restarts if quits) A message comes in, it opens a Claude Code that resumes the previous session, writes whatever I said on Telegram and once Claude Code responds it sends it back to Telegram Very simple

Total bullshit. You can work 6-7 days per week in Europe as well, and 12 hours per day if you wish. You just need to pay people extra. If extra hours aren’t charged more overworking becomes the norm. We don’t want that. We actually want to have a life.

In der USA sind die meisten Menschen enthusiastisch. In Europa werde ich beschimpft, Leute schreien REGULIERUNG und VERANTWORTUNG. Und wenn ich wirklich hier eine Firma baue dann kann ich mich mit Themen wie Investitionsschutzgesetz, Mitarbeiterbeteiligung und lähmenden Arbeitsregulierungen abkämpfen. Bei OAI arbeiten die meisten Leute 6-7 Tage die Woche und werden depentsprechend bezahlt. Be uns ist das illegal.
