@rysz_daniel @TheOnlyDSC Fkn enablers. Destroying the West one terrified justification at a time.

Enough of the racist, bullshit here. The correct answer is to kindly let this woman pass.. she is clearly either in crisis in a hurry or doesn’t give a fuck. In any of those circumstances, the correct thing to do here is just let her pass. Let her bully her way up to the front and let God judge her.. Jesus said, turn the other cheek.
English

@mpharrisonHarry @Kapt_Obvious @JoeTegtmeyer @esherifftv Uh ok. Like, we can't be talking about the same thing. Did someone say it's the next Greyhound? Obviously something with 15 kiloton explosive potential is going to launch in an area with clear zone ability
English

Want to know what it sounded like during the launch of Flight 12 of Starship today?
Check out this video and the shaking of the windows. This was during my livestream with @esherifftv (Ellie in Space) at a ouse about 5 miles from the launch site.
Definitely have the volume up! Truly a powerful rocket ... the most powerful ever!
English

I'm not sure what that sentence is supposed to mean. Most houses near coastal launch sites, especially post '92 Andrew upgraded code, can handle the 120 db SPL @ 5miles with zero issue. Even the wood framed ones. It's a 30ish second burst. If residents want to whine over that this way (Florida Space Coast) then they can move along. Their yappy ass small breeds they're crying about being traumatized are far more obnoxious.
Also, It's already approved at KSC. Mechazilla and Gigabay are probably at 50% complete. It's happening over here and we can't wait. Sounds like $ to us.
English

@jertally @Kapt_Obvious @JoeTegtmeyer @esherifftv But sure, double glaze those stick built houses. No one will notice the rockets taking off 🙃
English

@Cliffiscurious @DJSnM Almost everything about this ship has been changed and upgraded significantly. You’re comparing apples to oranges.
English

@DJSnM Not to mention the telemetry was showing nearly 1,454 km/h @ 0.0 km when it smacked into the ocean. That must have been a spectacular explosion. Limping the Starship to planned altitude with a dead vacuum Raptor was nothing to cheer about either. They are going backwards.
English

@Ankisucks @Kapt_Obvious @JoeTegtmeyer @esherifftv Plenty of launch nerds and employees more than happy to buy around launch areas. Just sell and move.
English

@Kapt_Obvious @JoeTegtmeyer @esherifftv Yeahhhh, govt or elon need to step in to pay for everyone to leave.
English

NASA used to have glaziers on retainer for Saturn V launches here in Brevard area. Most windows were untempered and single pane back then. Modern windows are significantly more resilient. Starship v3 is right at triple the boost of SV rocket. I don’t think you’ll see structural damage beyond maybe drywall joint cracks.
I imagine rockets will continue to get more powerful. I suspect the solution will have to be launch facilities on the water, maybe.
One of these popping on the launchpad is probably an inevitability given proposed launch frequency. It’s just a numbers game. Curious how the community responds to something like that.
English

@JoeTegtmeyer @esherifftv 1.000% in upport for this but makes me wonder about the local litigation of property damage purportedly caused by the acoustic and mechanical energy.

@BarstoolGruden @GaitLacrosse Can this man please get sponsored by a pocket knife company. @OffGridKnives Watching him open that box hurts my heart.

1. Clearly this teacher lacks judgement and/or was having some sort of episode. Fired is the easy answer.
2. There is really not much context here at all. Surely this dummy had some sort of intention here beyond just being suddenly super racist in the most inappropriate and public way possible.
I mean, wtf was she getting at?
English

@shortedresistor @woodhaus2 You’re right, robotaxi is not a family solution. Very clear.

After nearly 18 years I can stop working on Model S and X. We put so much love into these products, but will continue to pour that into the future products. Thanks to everyone who believed in and supported these cars through the years. We strived for the best and will never stop. Saying goodbye to something great and making room for something even greater!

@BenBergquam @cdepino Light these dudes up when they exit the interstate. Sheesh.

Crazy scene on our Florida 287(g) Highway Patrol / ICE operation. As we’re picking up one illegal another illegal crashes right next to us. The truth is most Americans can’t comprehend how many illegals are in our country. Thank God, ICE and America First states like Florida are fighting to fix it!

Also, pros and cons to both and it’s situational. What’s failing first tri or shoulder on that particular person? Is the dumbbell a larger diameter? I’ve had this restrict access to wrist/upper forearm. Half her complaint was getting a spot from lap to shoulder. Are we talking about that or spotting the actual lift? All things to consider for an effective debate.
As usual there’s nuance and we’re splitting hairs.
English

I almost never see it but we learned wrist spot on this directly from Billy Smith way back in the 90’s when Intrafitt out of Gold’s Venice was still around. Billy Smith, as-in Thunder from American Gladiators.
Wrists are much easier to grip and control and many will fail at the tris catching a dumbbell to the noggin.
Personally, for this lift, I have always cleaned heavier db’s to and let them stand on end on my shoulders then I carefully sit. Much more controllable, IMO. Blown bi and tennis elbow issues forced me there. And I mostly lift solo.
Wrist spot is legit.
English

Nice. Liking those. I do have one w the 15 degree cant that’s nice. I will say, between my shit shoulder flexibility and putting it on and taking off, depending on destination, really aggressive clips are a pain in the butt. These are also some of the first guys I see with their gear actually labeled SOB. I’ve had to figure it out on my own before now. 4 clip options too.
English

@jertally @SummersJohns69 @k9_reaper Check out hidden hybrid they make one just for the - SOB palm out draw but you can also cam the holster to your liking for the draw …I carry the same way and usually wear a thin tight fitting tank top tucked in under my t-shirt to keep the holster off my skin
English

Central FL living here. I’ve struggled with this too. I do not wear loose clothing. I had the most luck with a left handed holster in small of back for right hand draw. Not the quickest not in a bag and the best compromise for me. Biggest frame I carry is a Hellcat. Leather holster for that and I got some sticky back neaoprene for the skin side of the kydex I have for my Boddyguard 2. I can carry the Springfield in draw string shorts when walking the dog in complete comfort.
