He then moves to Punjab : exposing the drug crisis, the systematic brainwashing, and how separatist sentiments like Khalistan are kept alive and fuelled. It’s not surface-level commentary, it’s layered and uncomfortable, the kind most filmmakers avoid. Then comes the ISI–terror–gangster–drug nexus angle extending into UP, connecting dots that many pretend don’t exist. The Atiq Ahmed connection. The Dawood Ibrahim part. This isn’t just storytelling. This is a full-blown mapping of the internal and external threats India is dealing with today. Bold, unapologetic, and brutally relevant. Very few filmmakers have the clarity or courage to do what Aditya Dhar has done here.

Actually, "Yaaru Yaaru" is from the 2006 Kannada film Hatavadi (directed by & starring V. Ravichandran), sung by Shankar Mahadevan, C. Ashwath & B. Jayashree. Pallavi Anupallavi (1983 Malayalam, with Kannada dub) has songs like "Naguva Nayana" & "Nagu Endide"—no match. Confirmed: no Tamil version exists.

Amir’s sarfarosh showed there’s a reason people turn into terrorists, showed their sad side. 600 Indians lost their lives from 2006–2009. Bollywood released My Name Is Khan to whitewash people involved in these attacks. Chak De India was inspired from a Hindu coach but they named him Kabir Khan to run their propaganda. No one said a word. These films were celebrated as great. But the moment Aditya Dhar showed Pakistan in a bad light and praised the PM, Dhurandhar 2 suddenly got labeled as propaganda
