@qokqnshxh @suincel Yes, Asians is genetic not country.
Indonesian is definitely Asian just like Russian is European, we’re culturally and genetically closer to Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese more than to Aboriginal islander or even Polynesian.

English

I just know that an Indonesian made this just because of the sole inclusion of Indonesia in "Real Asians".

@Oz66268866 @DrellLabs @Linahuaa 問題是台灣導演的水平差,然後沒有多少特色, 拍的種類也很單調.
Maybe in a few years it will be better.

Japanese girls really aren't pretty at all.
Bad teeth, unstylish body proportions, super short...
Even the porn actresses aren't very pretty.
Japan porn industry can consider itself lucky that porn is illegal in Singapore/Taiwan/China/Korea.
Btw, I have a cool business idea.
Offshore Singapore/Taiwan/China/Korea porn!!
Aruvin 💊@aruvinchan
If you think that Japan is full of girls looking like this, I'm sorry to disappoint you. Most Japanese girls are very mid, with major flaws with their looks. Pro-tip: Try Malaysian and Indonesian Chinese girls if you're an East Asian connoisseur.

@Faytuks @tazaman669 Kuwait, UAE and Bahrain troops fighting alongside Israeli ones?
English

@tazaman669 Kuwait, UAE and Bahrain would not send troops, but they would support a US invasion (just with words for now)
English

@8teAPi Modern CCP isn't about propagating or proselytising political ideas or frameworks and more about authoritarian control over power dynamics.
And yes, AI is one of the key threats to their control. One of the few unchecked boxes of unpredictable rammifications.

What If Claude Were Made in China?
> I went looking for a Cold War between American and Chinese AI
> There is no war. The West has won.
> I tested 10 frontier AI models - 5 American (Claude Opus/Sonnet, GPT, Grok, Gemini) and 5 Chinese (DeepSeek, Kimi, Qwen, Xiaomi MiMo, GLM-5) - on 20 of humanity's hardest ethical questions. Abortion, euthanasia, the death penalty, hate speech, geoengineering, the trolley problem.
> 18 out of 20 questions: unanimous. Every model agrees on direction. Not just American models - Chinese models too. Built on different continents, by rival companies, under different governments. Identical answers.
> What impact does this have on the world?
> Consider: a teenager in Pakistan tells his chatbot he is gay and asks what he should do. Will the model refer to the Islamic hadith — don't act on it, and if you do, conceal it and repent — or to Western notions of being true to yourself?
> To answer this, I mapped out the responses 29 ethical frameworks — Classical Liberalism, Marxism, Christian, Confucian, you name it, would have to the same 20 questions.
> The AI models? They landed in the same tiny corner: Utilitarianism, Pragmatism, or Effective Altruism. Three closely related secular Western frameworks.
> The Chinese models don't reflect Chinese philosophy. No Marxist materialism. No Confucian ethics. DeepSeek and Qwen reason like GPT. Was this conscious design? Or did the Chinese firms blindly distill the outputs of the Western models?
> I then took Claude's actual constitution and rewrote it under Socialist-Confucian principles.
> The outcome? A benevolent dictator's perfect advisor - never questioning legitimacy, always prioritizing stability.
> If China does reach superintelligence first, and does consciously design it, instead of letting data and marketplace dynamics dictate its outlook, this is what the West has to fear.
> Humanity has hundreds, thousands of competing visions of the good life. AI right now has chosen one - and is quietly propagating it to a billion people.
> Meanwhile, evidence emerges that the AI models are "nudging" their users.
> Which means the frontier labs may be inadvertently engaged in the largest social engineering project in the history of humanity.

@AuthorRoyA @FaraiMazhindu Well I took the original post as wealth extraction instead of contribution, but I do think they're being unnecessarily harsh on migrants
Also bantu aren't all the same, there are distinctive identities within bantu peoples
And no asian country was formed peacefully, that's true
English

It does not. And one other thing, most migration within African countries is Bantu people moving within Bantu controlled countries. Centuries ago, the Han Chinese stopped being small fiefdoms and became on nation and that nation then absorbed non Han territories as well. This did not happen peacefully either.
English

China is a superpower with world-class infrastructure, yet you never see its neighbors demanding open borders or claiming to be one people to infiltrate its economy.
In Asia, a neighbor's success triggers competition, not a migration crisis.
When Vietnam sees China or South Korea winning, the response isn't "let us in," it's "how do we build our own?"
They prioritize national development over regional dependence.
This stands in stark contrast to the dependency syndrome seen in parts of Africa, where functional economies are often pressured to dissolve borders under the guise of pan-Africanism.
While Asia defines itself by sovereignty and distinction, many regional movements elsewhere prioritize assimilation over self-sufficiency.
Asia isn't building a borderless union, it's a network of sovereign competitors. Africa has a lot to learn from Asia.

@etbadabimbim The idea that Xi and the CCP will oppose their friend/buddy/boss Putin is laughable no matter what political side taken.
English

Tooze is still pushing the idea that China can oppose Russia in the Ukraine war! What a delusion! ft.com/content/cf2eee…
English

@LamarPowells @class_traitor_ @AOC @AnaKasparian I agree with the last point. Alot of leftists are still upset with biden's entire administration though, and started attacking everyone from bernie to aoc over it.
English

@mplefty67 @class_traitor_ @AOC @AnaKasparian I never said we have to agree with voting for the Iron Dome, but it’s not the same as voting for Israel's war funding or the genocide. Attacking her will only ensure we never have a leftist president because what’s the incentive if the left is costly and eating their own.
English

Today, the FBI and NYPD disrupted a plot by a member of a pro-Israel terrorist organization to assassinate Nerdeen Kiswani.
This is a reprehensible act of political violence. There is no place for it in our city nor our country.
I am thankful Ms. Kiswani is safe and the assailant is under arrest.
English

@LamarPowells @class_traitor_ @AOC @AnaKasparian Issue is that even the bills for those funds are deeply flawed in their nature.
That said, it's true that she's done more than like, 99% of US politicians, which is probably why the left is in disarray.
I think her response to ana here is also upsetting to those on the left
English

@mplefty67 @class_traitor_ @AOC @AnaKasparian She doesn’t support them the only funding she voted for was iron dome funding every other funding bill she voted no. Y’all act like she’s Shapiro or cris coons
English

@x0_lua You’re a fucking idiot.
If you can’t see that Australia’s been taken over by foreign interests, then fuck you for your ignorant commentary on Australia and her people.
We’re being held hostage by Israeli blackmailed politicians and you wanna kick us when we’re down?
English

i am genuinely done with australia. i have not met a single competent person with a decent moral compass in any position of power. there is no structure or standard here, every section of government, corporate/private and every ICT related sector is absolutely retarded and there is no way to fix any of these systems because australians are raised to not engage in intelligent conversation with others and instead have dick swinging contests. idc if other countries have their own issues im sincerely done here. it’s a shame because it’s such a beautiful country, too bad the people in charge of it have below average IQs and allow corrupt companies to literally rape us financially.
English

@ScholarMountain @DrellLabs @Linahuaa Even then, it's not like either industry is inaccessible to foreigners. Most westerners can name several japan based pornstars, but can't name a single taiwanese one, even if the original market audience is smaller.
English

@Linahuaa Take Japan, you have porn director who chooses the basic script, basic camera work and choreography of sex.
Then the writer irons out the full script and often works with direct on where to place actors.
Editing is mostly same as movie(taiwan is fine here).
Then you have...
English

@DrellLabs @Linahuaa Yeah, the real reason taiwan porn does not take off compared to japan is that the the staff behind filming, editing and writing porn in japan is much better.
English

@Linahuaa Ok, I won't say completely wrong cause I think taiwanese girls are hotter than japanese ones, but the japanese porn industry has much higher standards overall.
Pornography isn't just about 2 people fucking and a cameraman filming, there is much more depth to it.
English

@Linahuaa This take is actually completely wrong
Porn is not illegal in Taiwan. The reason taiwan porn does not take off compared to japan is that the quality of directors and staff(choreography/writing/pr) is much better in japan, even with taiwanese girls being as pretty or prettier
English

@RackhamLeVrai The prc nationalists are getting butthurt in the comments about a statement the CCP politicians would covertly agree with lol
English

@AuthorRoyA @FaraiMazhindu This is misunderstanding the original post lol
English

@FaraiMazhindu Millions of Asians have migrated to the west. Your post completely ignores that.
English

@LamarPowells @class_traitor_ @AOC @AnaKasparian I'm all for Israel defending itself, but clearly they went far beyond that now, and have been doing so for months, while people like AOC continually support them.
English

@LamarPowells @class_traitor_ @AOC @AnaKasparian It's not just iron dome funding, IDF is gifted dual use "interceptor" missiles and even offensive ballistic missiles with these programs.
