@RealWestern2003 Saudi Arabia should know that the large nation of Iran of 92 millions isn't going anywhere while the Americans will go away as they did from Vietnam and recently Afghanistan. And the days of OIL are numbered.

Saudi Arabia has made a major announcement that it will not engage in any war against Iran. Saudi officials have officially informed the United States that they will not allow the use of their territory or airspace to launch attacks against Iran. This is a major turning point for the Middle East.

Question for US taxpayers. Why are we there???? Why do we spend billions on military bases inside Persian gulf countries if those countries can dictate US military policy? The agreement- oil producers in the region sell their oil in US dollars, in return the US provides protection. It appears the agreement has broken down on both sides. Saudi Arabia recently announced they were not going to continue this agreement and the US has not done a very good job upholding its end…. Maybe time for the US to focus elsewhere and let the gulf nations settle their own differences without US military presence or involvement.
