One of the ugliest habits of Washington is pretending militarized spending is realism while human spending is indulgence. That is the worldview Warren is attacking here. The imbalance is so normalized people forget how insane it actually sounds when written out this plainly.

This is what media decay looks like in its purest form. Hasan cashes in by talking like half the country is a terrorist movement, Fox cashes in by turning that clip into rage bait, and the public gets pushed one step further toward seeing politics as a fight between enemies rather than a society that still has to live together.

The most disturbing part is not that Trump posted an absurd image of himself. It is that he keeps moving closer to a style of politics where criticism becomes heresy, loyalty becomes devotion, and his own image has to be inflated beyond anything human. At some point this stops being ordinary vanity and starts looking like the psychology of a man who no longer recognizes limits, including sacred ones.

Trump is now attacking the Pope for speaking out against war while posting images of himself as a messianic figure. This is not only offensive. It is deranged, egomaniacal behavior. When will Republicans in Congress stop blindly following this dangerous and unhinged man?

Loomer’s response is revealing because she does not really engage Tucker’s claim at all. She just declares it disrespectful and false, which is exactly what people do when they want to protect the leader from scrutiny without confronting the substance. Tucker’s point in the reposted text is not merely that Trump is too close to Israel. It is that Trump still has agency and can choose sovereignty, which means the real debate is whether he will.
