@AshleyGWinter As an ER doc, I always love to get follow upmessages! Especially good ones. I keep a list of patients I f/u on but can’t always see what happens as an outpatient. And generally we only get negative feedback even though we are all trying our best under restraints/circumstances

@ottendave In that case, would definitely get images to document a true dislocation. Also any more than 1 dislocation in a patient over about 25 and any dislocations under 25 should see ortho.

Should an Xray (or Xrays) be performed before attempting any reduction in the ER (presumed shoulder disloc, ankle fracture, finger disloc etc)?

@traependergrast 5. i would encourage anyone looking into this option to gather as much information as they can before making a decision, but they aren't forcing you to sign up without knowing you will serve as a doc for uncle sam when your training is complete...

people should join the army bc they want to join the army, not bc its the only way to pay for an education.. recruiters sliding into my email and throwing around the word “scholarship” feels predatory as hell
