For the first time in 15 years, Portland bee farmers were unable to reap honey in April — the month for their highest production — a situation Portland Bee Farmers Association President Bernard Walker says is a result of a change in the blossoming pattern of flora in the north-eastern parish.

@cschiketanz Hi Cindy, Our apologies for the disappointment this caused on such a special trip. We understand how frustrating an unexpected aircraft change and seating disruption can be. For information on flight interruptions and passenger rights, please visit: ms.spr.ly/6018vX85i

@frazras @Gordonswaby Not in basic school my friend, start at HOME too often you hear the call for the schools to do this, the Government do this, the Church and so and so on where are the parents. We all at one time heard “dance a yard before you dance abroad.

@Gordonswaby In Japan, there are very few public garbage bins because everybody keeps their trash in their bag until they get home.
Japan is super clean.
We need a multi-decade-long social intervention: associating national pride with cleanliness.
Starting in basic schools.

For the “Jamaica doesn’t have enough garbage bins, that’s why Jamaicans litter so much” crowd: let’s use Devon House as an example. On any given day, on either of the two lawns, there’s garbage all over, especially plastic bottles, as you’ll see in the photos.
I’ve personally seen people eat or drink and just casually leave their garbage in the same spot.
As I’ve mentioned before, the people who litter don’t do so because of a lack of garbage bins. It’s a bigger problem. Adding more garbage bins wouldn’t stop the people who litter. They’d litter anyway.

@benchslappedtv Breaking News, this is not the first case of this nature,it’s highlighted because of the “high “ profile individual .There is a lot of jurisdictions who go ahead and prosecute to give the appearance of a Zero Tolerance approach. I am speaking from experience.

The prosecution in the Stefon Diggs case never should have brought this case in the first place. The fact it even survived probable cause review is embarrassing enough, but the prosecutions closing argument made it even worse.
The prosecutor literally stood in front of the jury and admitted their “star witness” Ms. Adams was “argumentative, avoiding, difficult,” and essentially asked the jury not to hold that against her credibility. That is insane. Credibility is the entire foundation of a case like this when there is little to no meaningful corroboration. You do not get to acknowledge your key witness is unreliable and then tell jurors to ignore it because “that’s not your job.” Assessing credibility is EXACTLY the jury’s job. This got dangerously close to misstating the jury’s constitutional function because assessing reliability and deciding what weight to give testimony is literally one of the jury’s core duties. Luckily the jury saw right through the BS!
Prosecutors are ethically obligated to seek justice, not merely to convict or push questionable cases to trial and hope jurors overlook glaring reliability issues. Cases should be built on credible evidence and proof beyond a reasonable doubt, not excuses for why the state’s own witness cannot withstand scrutiny.
This prosecution was an embarrassment to the judicial system from start to finish and another reminder that absolute prosecutorial immunity leaves virtually no accountability when weak cases destroy reputations and lives. Something has to change! This is the exact reason I get loud and will continue to get loud about this BS!

When I was in my 20s living in Houston Texas, I had this neighbor who played loud music every night.
Not just loud, 2 a.m., walls shaking loud.
I knocked once, he didn’t answer.
Second time, he opened the door, barely looked at me and said:
“Give me 10 minutes.”
Closed the door in my face.
Music kept going.
So I reported him to the building manager.
Left a calm complaint. Nothing dramatic.
Just: “Consistent noise at night. Disturbing sleep.”
Manager said they’d handle it.
That night, 1:47 a.m.
My phone rang.
Unknown number.
I picked up.
“…you reported me?”
"Yes?" I replied.

@Raggahmufinzent It was rumored that the CIA was heavily involved in those activities and today I am 💯 convinced they were.

@gotrice2024 I’m not aware if this exists in every jurisdiction but there is what is called the Landlord and tenants Act which forbids the landlord from entering without adequate notice .

This woman was sleeping in her apartment when the realtor comes by to show the apartment to get a start on renting out the apartment when the current tenant leaves soon.
The realtor just lets herself in, doesn’t even knock, the tenant wasn’t dressed. Even after the tenant tells her she’s not dressed she still insists on seeing the apartment. It wasn’t until the other potential tenant said something that the realtor backs off.
There is a level of entitlement when it comes to people entering an occupied space without warning, I would report her for invading my privacy, would that be appropriate?

@JamaicaObserver Come on do we have to kill everybody who confronts us so make it make sense, every report cannot be the same.We now have more educated people in the JCF so why can’t we improve on our reporting it makes no fu$&@ sense
English

@JamaicaObserver As an individual who has vested interests in Law Enforcement I am disappointed with the generic form of reporting these issues which leads to concerns about the legitimacy of the event. Days are gone when the “others escaped in nearby bushes “ now it’s “a confrontation “

If a random stranger especially an old person starts talking to you in the supermarket or elsewhere please be patient because you may be the only one this person has spoken to for days, weeks or even a month. Be kind because you never know one day that this person might be you, not by choice but by circumstance. ❤️
Old people can be lonely people.
