Is it just me or has Bitcoin just died? If you look at a 5 year chart it’s up about 20% since it’s high in 2021. Annualized that’s about 4% a year. I can find a boring dividend stock that’s doubled this return. I thought this was supposed to save us 😀

Bitcoin did fail, but it's failure has nothing to do with the price. Bitcoin was supposed to free us from dependence on banks, credit cards, counterparty risk in every transaction, and the ability for those in power to censor the financial transactions of others. Bitcoin wasn't created to make you rich. It's failure to become a viable currency is a far greater loss to civilization then the returns doing that would have created. Thankfully other projects are picking up the slack.
