His name is Rinku Singh Rahi. In 2009 he was a PCS officer in Muzaffarnagar. He exposed a Rs 100 crore scholarship and pension scam. Three days later someone shot him seven times. Two bullets hit his face. His jaw shattered. He lost an eye. Lost hearing in one ear. He spent 4 months in hospital. When he came out the government transferred him. He did not quit. At age 40 with one eye and a broken jaw he appeared for the UPSC exam under the disability quota. He got AIR 683. He became an IAS officer. In July 2025 on his first field posting as SDM in Shahjahanpur he saw a clerk urinating in the office premises. He made the clerk do squats as punishment. The lawyers protested saying it was wrong. Rinku Singh Rahi said there is no shame in accountability and did five squats himself in public. Within 36 hours he was transferred. For 8 months he sat at the Revenue Board with no work. Full salary. Zero responsibilities. On March 31 2026 he resigned. His resignation letter said there is a special punishment reserved for honest people in India. They get paid but no work is given to them. He said even receiving a salary without working is a form of corruption. He could not do it. He walked away.

He was transferred 12 times in 7 years. In 2012 he became Chief Vigilance Officer at AIIMS Delhi. In two years he investigated 200 corruption cases. Rs 3,750 crore irregularity in campus expansion. Fake medicines being sold inside hospital premises. Corrupt officials at every level. CBI cases were registered against senior bureaucrats. In August 2014 he was transferred out of AIIMS. The health minister who transferred him later became party president of the ruling party. In 2015 he won the Ramon Magsaysay Award. He donated the entire prize money to AIIMS for treatment of poor patients. AIIMS returned his cheque. He has been in non-field postings for 9 years since then. 16 judges have recused themselves from hearing his cases. No government in India wants him posted in their state. That is how you know he is doing his job right.

Resigned in 2019 after criticising the company's direction, calling it a "Khas Aadmi Company" Kapil Mishra: CFO. Quit in 2018, after sending a nasty resignation letter, just before Ashish Khetan, also stepped away. @theskindoctor13 This is speculation...waise, sab bhagat singh ho nahi ho sakte to yeh umeed bhi galat hai/thi. Now that AAP has acted on it, may be aap volunteers and supporters can go easy on him for all he did for the party and excuse him for not being able to live up to the party standards.

Raghav Chadha’s fallout with AAP is very interesting. He was part of Kejriwal’s core team, among his most trusted men. But something changed when agencies began arresting AAP leaders one after another in the liquor scam. That was the time Chadha abruptly distanced himself from AAP. Maybe the agencies found something really incriminating against him, or he feared arrest, or new influences in his personal life played a role. Kejriwal went to jail. Sisodia went to jail. Kejriwal came out and then was acquitted too. Through all this, Chadha remained largely silent and stayed occupied with his own life. What’s more interesting is how AAP is quietly tolerating his indifference. Technically, from Kejriwal’s perspective, this could be seen as a betrayal, and he is hardly known to stay silent against what he perceives as betrayal. Yet here, he and the entire party continue to remain respectful towards him. Perhaps they believe he knows too much and do not want to push him to a point where he might spill the beans.
