Starmer claimed that the "basic problem" was already well known and then immediately pivoted to attacking the people who were calling for the national inquiry.
Starmer: They're spreading misinformation. They're jumping on the far right bandwagon. They're trying to incite violence. They're looking for attention.
Everything Starmer said in this video was in direct response to being asked why he doesn't want a national inquiry into grooming gangs.

This is a difficult world to navigate as a young man, I was pressured into unideal agreements, and making various statements that weren’t accurate/my position.
