For all of you following Kamryn on IG and praying for her on the PCT… she’s doing ok! @JUSTcatmeme has been posting about her! I still think she’s with a male companion or at least I’m praying. Yes women hike this alone… but this wee thing has me nervous as a forensic physician.

This lady goes to the gas station like she always does on a normal day. But, as she uses her card which she knows has plenty of money in her account, the message “please see cashier” pops up. She’s not going inside. She’s leaving and going to another gas station. This has happened to me many times and I refuse to go inside because a gas station can’t fix their darn gas pumps. In fact, I won’t visit that gas station anymore. Has this ever happened to you? Did you go inside or did you leave and go to another gas station?

As a citizen of Colorado, I am deeply concerned about how dangerous our roads have become. The recent 75-vehicle pileup on I-70 wasn’t just a weather event… it was chaos. Dozens of vehicles, multiple crashes, and people injured on a stretch of highway we all rely on. And the truth is, this keeps happening. Yes, we live in a state with harsh winter conditions. But this is also about preparedness, infrastructure, and accountability. We know these storms are coming, yet we continue to see massive, preventable pileups that put lives at risk. Colorado families deserve to feel safe on our roads. Enough is enough. It’s time for stronger enforcement, better preparedness, and real solutions to prevent these dangerous situations from happening again. foxnews.com/us/colorado-hi…

After 12 years, the dog no one chose crossed the rainbow bridge… She came into my life 12 years ago in a very unexpected way. A waitress I barely knew was being evicted and needed someone to take her six months old puppy. No one else helped. I said yes, thinking it would only be for a month. At first, I wasn’t very attached. I left all her things downstairs. She was so scared that she hid behind my dryer for three days. But when I finally picked her up and took her upstairs, everything changed. She relaxed in my arms and curled into my lap, like she had been waiting all her life to be loved. Like she just wanted someone to choose her. Over the next 12 years, she stayed with me as my life changed. We slept next to each other every night. Then my life grew. First, a wife. Then one son. Then another. Soon, she wasn’t just my dog, she was part of our family. We all loved her so much. My kids were always gentle with her. She had a backyard to run and play, to lie in the sun, and enjoy peaceful days. I truly believed we had at least one more summer together. Then one morning, everything changed. She got very sick with pancreatitis. We rushed her to the vet and tried everything. But deep down, I knew. Still, she kept fighting. We brought her home, and for one full day, she was herself again. She sat outside, quietly watching my kids play in the driveway. She looked calm and at peace. It was her “last good day.” The next morning, she wouldn’t eat or drink. And slowly… she began to fade. We took her back to the vet. This time, she didn’t come home. It’s been a month now. I still find myself looking for her. I still look at her spot, expecting her to be there. At night, I look at her photos. I don’t cry as much now, but it still hurts. I don’t know what happens after this life. But I hope she’s somewhere waiting. Somewhere she’s young again. Running toward me. Jumping on the bed before me like she always did. Maybe this time… we get forever. Warm days, quiet nights, and endless summers. Thank you for letting me share her story. She was here. She was loved. She had a family who truly cared for her. Rest peacefully, Luna.

Hey there @WestPoint_USMA and @NavalAcademy, do y'all still keep an active presence here? Asking for a particular institution. One who probably needs some counseling. Of the W2W sort.

@TheBrancaShow Atilla? Right, because he would’ve run away. 🤡 Get off the Front Range, and there’s plenty of rural CO doing just fine.

The most dangerous type of depression is the high-functioning kind, because absolutely nobody will save you if you still look good and show up to work. Society only recognizes mental health struggles if your life is visibly falling apart. If you still dress well, pay your bills, and manage to smile when spoken to, people assume you are perfectly fine. Meanwhile, you are completely empty inside. But because your suffering isn't inconveniencing anyone else's schedule, they don't care. They praise your "hustle" and "strength" while you are literally just surviving on pure autopilot. The moment you finally crack, miss a deadline, or drop the ball, they don't offer grace or help. They just get angry that the reliable person they constantly use is suddenly "acting out of character." You aren't a person to them; you are a utility. As long as you are producing results, they do not care if you are breaking down in private.

Is this even true I live in a place where you have to go 40 min just to have any real food don't even know what this is. From a post We stopped at Buc-ee’s just to “use the bathroom real quick.” Rookie mistake. Twenty minutes later… I’m pushing a cart (WHY do they even have carts at a gas station??), my toddler is licking a 3-pound bag of gummy worms, My husband is talking to a complete stranger about beef jerky like it’s a fine wine tasting, and I’m somehow Standing there with a cart full of fudge, a brisket sandwich the size of my face., matching family Buc-ee’s shirts, and a cast iron skillet I absolutely did NOT need The baby has a whole new wardrobe and is now chewing on a Buc-ee’s spatula like a teether The 5-year-old has a beaver plushie the size of a Golden Retriever. And I’m $300 poorer wondering how the heck we just left a GAS STATION with more stuff than I got at Target last week. Buc-ee’s isn’t a gas station. It’s a full-blown amusement park disguised as a bathroom break. And we fall for it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Send help. And wet wipes. And maybe another brisket taco.

A concert ticket in 2019 was $75 for decent seats. Now $200 gets you the nosebleeds. Ticketmaster adds fees on top of that. A night out for a family to see live music can run $500 to $1,000. They priced out the entire middle class. No wonder everyone stays home these days.

Real Americans are falling behind. This is the result of out of control government spending and regulations that making life unaffordable in the USA. Fed policy and government spending priorities have simply made life unaffordable for about 60% of the country. And they remember that it used to be easier to get ahead (before 2008) and now most of them are confused as to what they are missing out on. Their annual raises are not keeping up with inflation. Every year they fall further and further behind.
