Yesterday afternoon, Steven, my mom, and I came upon a scene I won’t soon forget. A firefighter was climbing up the embankment, carrying a small child in his arms. Today, The Durango Herald is reporting that two people lost their lives in that crash east of Bayfield, and that a 5 year old little girl was found after nearly 30 hours in that totaled vehicle and transported to Mercy Hospital. My heart is heavy. Please join me in praying for this little girl, for strength, for healing, for comfort, and for the families who are now facing unimaginable loss. BREAKING: Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani has been HOSPITALIZED and is in “CRITICAL BUT STABLE” condition, per @TedCGoodman It’s unclear why he’s hospitalized and how long he’s been there. Pray for America’s Mayor! 🙏🏻 Just last week, Giuliani received the Donald J. Trump Commander in Chief award from the Metroplitan Republican Club in New York and gave an acceptance speech, seeming to be in good shape.

Golden Tempo was literally dead last in the final turn and then outkicked everyone to win the Kentucky Derby. What an insane finish.

.‼️What is your life worth? ‼️This issue is personal for me. My mother-in-law died from a rare cancer after chemicals were dumped into the water supply in Illinois for decades and decades. Our family has lived with that loss. And this isn’t some distant or debatable issue. In December 2025, Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul secured a $120 million settlement with Monsanto (now owned by Bayer) over PCB contamination. For decades, that company produced and dumped toxic “forever chemicals” into the environment from its Sauget plant, polluting waterways and soil across the region. That’s not opinion. That’s fact. So when I hear people say we should make it harder to sue companies like Monsanto or Bayer… or that we shouldn’t require clear warnings because it might raise costs… I can’t stay quiet. Again, I ask, what is your life worth? Without transparency and the ability to hold these companies accountable in court, families like mine don’t get answers. We don’t get justice. This isn’t about being anti-business. It’s about doing what’s right. If something has the potential to cause cancer, people deserve to know.
