Why would anyone want this? Movies made by nobody that say nothing. Destroying the industry so that real artists can't afford to make real art. This is awful for everyone except the companies who hope to make billions further destroying our culture and society and the world

@tvaziri @TomMCJL @robbiewilliams I read it to mean they were really practical when they shot it, 1st AD was on form. All cables correctly taped down or covered. Trip hazards removed for the trinity op. That sorta stuff.

@MattiHaapoja iPhone 15 pro max but they needed a lens that can create the same effect as the first film did. But I have found out what lens it is as of now.

The first $75 million dollar movie shot on an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Amazing to see what Danny Boyle and DP Anthony Dod Mantle have been able to pull off visually. Of course it was rigged with proper cinema lenses and tons of other peripheral gear, but I am still just as impressed with how far they pushed that tiny little phone sensor. And it makes sense for this film, as the original 28 days later was shot on the prosumer Canon XL-1. The iPhone gives a similar gritty feel, but feels more clean and appropriate for present day.

@stalman Multimeter for the win… There’s also Youlean Loudness Meter which has presets for Broadcast standards. But agree. Be nice to have this integrated into FCPs built in meters so there's not compound clipping Audio

Is there a better way to monitor audio levels in Final Cut Pro? I just don't trust the waveform or the meters

I sorta love how the reason for the trendyness of filming Low angle wides of characters is because basically it’s easier on the arms to hold your DSLR down there for a day handheld than it is to keep it at eye level!
