It has been the world’s 4th largest economy way before Gavin. He has driven out so many companies and people from the state that CA has lost house seats due to the outflow of population. I live in Nashville and we have tons of CA expats relocating here (much to my chagrin). CA companies relocating to Nashville include Oracle, In-and-Out Burger, etc etc.
