पुण्यात पुढचे १४ दिवस जमावबंदी.. सरकार म्हणतं कायदा आणि सुव्यवस्था राखण्यासाठी निर्णय घेतला. पण सामान्य जनतेला मात्र वेगळंच चित्र दिसत आहे. भाववाढ, महागाई, पेट्रोल-डिझेल दरवाढ, बेरोजगारी, नीट पेपर गळतीसारखे प्रश्न यामुळे लोकांमध्ये प्रचंड असंतोष वाढला आहे. रस्त्यावर उतरून आंदोलन होऊ नये, जनतेचा आवाज दाबला जावा आणि सरकारविरोधातील रोष कमी दिसावा म्हणूनच हा निर्णय घेतला गेलाय का, असा प्रश्न आता नागरिक विचारत आहेत. लोकशाहीमध्ये प्रश्न विचारणाऱ्यांवर निर्बंध लावले जातात, पण जनतेच्या प्रश्नांवर उपाय मात्र दिसत नाहीत.

आज सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात Vinayak Damodar Savarkar यांना “माफीवीर” म्हटल्याबाबतच्या मानहानी प्रकरणाच्या सुनावणीदरम्यान न्यायाधीशांनी महत्त्वपूर्ण निरीक्षण नोंदवले. न्यायालयाने म्हटले की, जर केवळ पत्रांच्या आधारावर सावरकरांना “माफीवीर” म्हणायचे असेल, तर Mahatma Gandhi यांनी ब्रिटिश व्हाइसरॉय आणि अधिकाऱ्यांना लिहिलेली १२ पत्रे देखील समोर आहेत. न्यायाधीशांनी Rahul Gandhi यांचे वकील Abhishek Manu Singhvi यांना विचारले की, राहुल गांधींना माहिती आहे का की महात्मा गांधी ब्रिटिश व्हाइसरॉयला लिहिलेल्या प्रत्येक पत्राच्या शेवटी “Your Faithful Servant” असे लिहीत असत आणि त्यांना ब्रिटिशांकडून दरमहा ₹१२०० वेतनही मिळत होते? मग याचा अर्थ महात्मा गांधी ब्रिटिशांचे नोकर होते का? आणि त्यांना देशद्रोही म्हणायचे का? असे प्रश्न उपस्थित होताच वकील अभिषेक मनू सिंघवी निरुत्तर झाल्याचे सांगितले जात आहे. जर ही १२ पत्रे खरी असतील, तर गांधी हे निश्चितच ब्रिटिशांचे एजंट आणि देशद्रोही होते, असा दावा या मजकुरात करण्यात आला आहे. तसेच आता या मुद्द्याला न्यायालयीन मान्यताही मिळाल्याचे म्हटले गेले आहे. This “oldest language” chart is pathetic cherry-picking cope 😂 Vedic Sanskrit was composed 3500+ years ago - in North India. Panini wrote the Ashtadhyayi 2500 years ago - in North India. Prakrit, Pali, Apabhramsha - all North Indian roots. Hindi evolved straight from them. Modern Tamil is **NOT** 5000 years old. Sangam literature ~2000 years old. Earliest Tamil inscriptions ~2200 years max. You’re taking modern Hindi’s age and comparing it to Tamil’s proto-ancestor while ignoring North India’s ancient lineage. Apply the same yardstick and Tamil also lands at ~2000 years. Stop the cheap Tamil supremacist distortion. History isn’t your WhatsApp university syllabus. Stay mad. 🔥

पुणे पोलिसांची चोर सोडून संन्याशाला फाशी.. माझ्यावर जीवघेणा हल्ला करणारे गुंड संग्राम भंडारे व इतर सर्व आरोपी मोकाट असून वाघोली पोलीस स्टेशनचे पोलिस एका खोट्या फिर्यादीवरून कसलाही पुरावा नसताना मला अटक करण्यासाठी मला फोन न करता रात्री घरी आले मी घरी नव्हतो. कुटुंबीयांना माझ्या अटकेबाबत निरोप दिला कुटुंबांना घाबरवण्याचा हा प्रयत्न होता काय ? असा माझा सवाल आहे ? पोलीस मला फोन करू शकले असते. मी फरार नाही किंवा माफीवीर नाही. शासनाने मला जरूर अटक करावी मी पोलिसांना सहकार्य करणारा माणूस आहे कारण मी कायदा पाळणारा माणूस आहे कायदा हातात घेणारा माणूस नाही. सत्यासाठी लढत राहणार सत्याग्रही पद्धतीने जामीन , वकील ,दंड देणार नाही. पुणे पोलिसांनी मला जरूर अटक करावी मी तयार आहे. आता मला पुण्यातून पोलीस #वाघोली पोलीस स्टेशनला घेऊन चाललेले आहेत. #pune #police

Modi deserves to be humiliated everywhere he goes. He has not given a single press conference in 12 years since he became the Prime Minister. He fails to fulfill the basic transparency and accountability requirements of being a leader. I would like to encourage foreign journalists from other European countries to ask him questions wherever they see him, just like @HelleLyngSvends did. Embarrass him so much that he is forced to show some accountability in front of people. You will be doing great service for India’s progress.
