@BionicSparkle6 @jemimajones68 @GBNEWS @Nanaakua1 3000 individual traits that combine. In each trait there is a distribution curve but men exceed women even though there is some overlap. The odds that a woman exceeds a man in the majority of those 3000 traits is in the region of a meteor destroying the earth. 🙄

The last time I spoke in detail with the media was a long, long time ago when the very first and last trans athlete competed at the Olympics and came dead last. It's so sad that now we have all this science that supports inclusion, and we have politicians using a tiny community as scapegoats, and for the IOC to fall for this political interference & diversion is what makes it saddest for me. A massive paradigm shift in anti-acceptance and anti-inclusion has evolved under Coventry’s 'leadership since her appointment in 2025. The @iocmedia can't be a standard bearer or the moral arbiter of everything, but on the flipside, they are global community leaders; they are pervasive in every community from JNR sports up, and people look to them for leadership, and if they don't lead, there's a vacuum. Women at all levels of the Olympics movement have contributed to making the Olympics a safer place but equally there have been many male champions of change that have stood up and championed diversity, tolerance and acceptance none more so then Thomas Bach and his previous IOC Executive Team. Since 2003 the @ioc have been at the forefront in championing inclusion and diversity in particular with the first ever trans polcoe developed in 2003 followed by the 2016 and 2021 policies. Since the IOC has created a rule for trans athletes to compete in 2003, over 81,000 people have become Olympians. Out of those 81,000 Olympians a total of 2 have been trans women & one came dead last the other came 37th out of 42. There isn’t a single trans or intersex woman dominating her sport. Even Caster Semenya, the most famous, & most successful, intersex woman athlete doesn’t “dominate” her sport. Caster has won a total of two Olympic golds medals & holds no world records.  By contrast, Katie Ledecky has won a total of 9 Olympic gold medals and has broken 19 world records since 2013. Why is Katie Ledecky treated like a marvel, and Caster Semenya and transgender women are treated like mutants? There currently exists no evidence to suggest that trans women who elect to suppress testosterone (through, for example, gender affirming hormone therapy and/or surgical gonad removal) maintain disproportionate advantages over c_s women indefinitely. More specifically, current evidence suggests any physical performance advantages  trans women do not fall outside the range observed among XX women after 2 years of testosterone suppression. youtu.be/B8CzqxhZk7I?si… transresearch.org.au/post/trans-wom…

@NT78stonewobble @JohnLoony @PeterTatchell You are talking about individual traits What about athletes who train or born/live at altitude or have better coaches or more funding better training facilities better equipment over others these are all advantages

@BionicSparkle6 @JohnLoony @PeterTatchell Not enough to erase all the advantage of being male or having male sex characteristics. In any case, if females want to compete with males or females with advantageous male sex characteristics, they can compete in gender neutral sports and competitions.

Olympic ban on all trans women competing in women’s events is unjustified They’ve no unfair advantage if they’ve had hormone treatment It reduces muscle mass, bone density & physical strength & endurance. Their performance declines to that of ‘biological’ women Individual assessment. Just a gentle reminder that when Poland’s Joanna Jóźwik crossed the finish line in 5th place, she declared herself the Silver medalist & said she was proud to be the second white athlete to cross the line……

After today's excellent decision by the IOC.,if the Rio 2016 women's 800m. was held today, the 3 medallists in my photo. Wambui, Niyonsaba & Semenya would be barred and the medals would go to Canada's Melissa Bishop, Poland's Joanna Jozwik & GB's Lynsey Sharp @AthleticsWeekly

Our bodies produce exactly the amount of testosterone that it needs (meaning: if it has bad receptors it needs to produce more, if the receptors are very efficient it can produce very little), thus creating an optimal level for the body in question. Testosterone levels don’t tell us how much of the amount the body actually uses, and how it uses it, yet it is still very common to want to measure testosterone levels in (female) athletes that are either transgender or suspected of having an intersex condition. But what type of testosterone should one test; the one that is bound in receptors, the free-flowing level or a combination? And in what medium? It turns out that testosterone in saliva has a different relationship with for instance fat distribution than testosterone in blood has. Timing also has an influence on the measures as levels of testosterone fluctuate during the day, during the week, during the menstrual cycle and can be influenced by a number of factors such as sleep-deprivation, sexual intercourse, competing, being single or not (single men have on average higher testosterone than married men) or partaking in the nurturing care of an infant (which lowers the levels of testosterone considerably, also in men). A single or a few measures taken on an individual are thus not likely to show an accurate global picture. youtu.be/OHix5GtIYEM?si…

The argument about intersex women’s supposed competitive advantage is exactly that: supposed. It isn’t measured. I wouldn’t describe the results of a single event as intersex (or trans) women having “dominated” the 2016 Games. The winner @MightyCaster didn’t even set a world record. Semenya does not hold the world record in the 800 m event.  There were 306 podiums at  Rio Games. Just one was composed entirely of intersex athletes. Women were eligible for 144  podiums. One podium out of 144, or 0.69%. Apparently 1 podium out of 144 is enough for the @iocmedia to claim  intersex women are dominating.  One podium does not make a pattern make. There were 306 podiums at the 2016 Rio Games. Just one was composed entirely of intersex female athletes. Women were eligible for 144 of those podiums (including women-only and mixed-gender sports or categories). Why is Katie Ledecky treated like a marvel, and Caster Semenya is treated like a mutant? In short, these arguments against both trans and intersex women athletes tend to be based on mere assumption, unsupported “common sense,” straw arguments, fallacious question begging, and a number of hypotheticals and unsupported counterfactuals rather than established fact. Essentially, they’re based on a lot of “ifs.” youtu.be/2-ohQiLWWwA?si… transresearch.org.au/post/trans-wom…

Women's sport 'defenders' might like to ponder this. The Olympics banned women running 800m until 1960, 1500m until 1972 and the Marathon until the 1980s. The reason? Women's 'delicate health' and potential infertility The Olympic movement has always been about policing women
