This is interesting, since it's like a credit-default swap (CDS) layered on top of an onchain lending vault, but with protection against protocol failure, rather than counterparty default (which is what worries people with overcollateralized lending). The UX here is pretty slick in that the premiums are paid by emissions from the vault itself, which is good for retail lenders. As a market thing though, onchain CDS (or just insurance) should trade separately, rather than bundled with the vault, both as a way to express a view about the viability of a curator and also provide a form of prediction market on the likelihood of a curator going bust.

Taxing unrealized gains is to me one of the clearest examples of suicidal empathy. Their attempt to correct inequality punishes success and undermines the system that generates the wealth they ultimately depend on. Financial suicide. @GadSaad
