Do you think there is a correlation, or even causality, between the disappearance of lexicon related to Political Islam in the field of national security and the growth of Islamic organizations? This map shows that the number of Islamic organizations is steadily growing. For this reason, we must understand how they influence non-Islamic societies and learn more about the foundation on which they operate—the Islamic doctrine itself. Islamic organizations adhere to the Islamic doctrine found in the Koran, Sira and Hadith. 51% of this doctrine relates to non-Muslims. We define this 51% of the doctrine about non-Muslims as "Political Islam." Therefore, all Islamic organizations represent Political Islam to some extent. You are completely right, and it is not a contradiction. What you describe is the so-called “jihad of purification,” in which jihadis target other Muslims because they do not behave closely enough according to the example of Mohammed. Therefore, in their eyes, such individuals effectively become non-Muslims (Kafirs) who can be directly targeted by violent means of jihad. This phenomenon helps explain violence within the Islamic community itself.

INTERVIEW: As a “little Jewish boy” growing up in postwar Britain, Simon Schama says he never felt physically unsafe walking the streets wearing a kippa. Nor, he says, were guards routinely posted at the door of the local synagogue. But, notes the acclaimed historian, that’s not the experience of Jewish children in Britain today. Instead, he says, it is the most difficult time for young Jews to be growing up since the end of World War II. Is there any correlation between the density of Islamic organizations and: ◾the success or failure of the integration process of the migration from Islamic countries? ◾the transformation the public space and/or urban design? ◾the level of security and law enforcement activity? ◾the value of the business as well as private real estate? ◾the freedom of artistic expression, including music, painting, dance, etc.? ◾the diversity of different cultures and religious groups in neighborhoods? ◾increasing and/or decreasing availability of certain types of food, beverages, and particular services? ◾increasing and/or decreasing representation of different types of businesses?
