I am grateful for President Trump’s trust in me to lead the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. It’s an honor to serve. As @DHSgov Secretary, I’m committed to safeguarding the American people and protecting the homeland. I’ll fight for your family just as I’ll fight for mine. I look forward to standing shoulder to shoulder with the 260,000 outstanding DHS employees and their families to keep our nation safe. My first priority is to end the partisan fighting and reopen the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as a matter of national security. Let’s get to work. 🇺🇸

We are closely tracking Typhoon Sinlaku as it brings dangerous winds, heavy rain and flooding to Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands. I thank @POTUS for his quick approval of two emergency declarations this weekend providing federal resources and technical expertise to support territorial response efforts to this storm.   @FEMA is fully engaged and has embedded response teams throughout the Pacific region who are coordinating requests for aid. @USCG is also activated and prepared to respond. For those affected by the storm, our prayers are with you. Please stay safe and follow directions from local officials who are working around the clock to keep you safe.

This sexual predator was RELEASED into our country by the Biden administration in 2024. He is charged with raping and kidnapping a woman on Easter Sunday. @ICEgov lodged an arrest detainer to ensure he is NEVER released into our communities to prey on more innocent women.
