Lack of space but running multiple printers? Then watch YouTube video by The Stock Pot full of inspiration. He stacked three CORE One+ printers on a rack, using a sliding mechanism that lets each printer pull out just like a kitchen drawer. youtu.be/_-GUc0IBcag

With the range of 330 with 21s... when you put on 20 inch all terrains... that may be looking at 295 or so... real world 250.

@cybrtrkguy The Cybertruck failed to meet any of the specifications from the announcement. Not just the price. If they had focused on delivering what they announced, instead of adding additional features, it would be the best selling EV truck

@whatsinside Negligible difference. Sales didn’t increase with supercharger access. I’ve own my R1S for about two years, R1T for seven months and never needed to use the Tesla supercharger network while traveling

I Wonder how much lower Rivian sales would be if they didn’t have access to Tesla Superchargers. I’m guessing 25%. Would be tough to own. Really nice of Elon Musk to open those up.

Hot Take: Rivian should kill off the R1T and make an R1X fully optioned instead. Limit the SKUs to a dozen and sell it premium priced. The trademark is pending…

Even if you wrapped the entire planet in a solar panel, you would only be producing 20% of global energy. One of the biggest mistakes politicians can make is equating the ELECTRICITY with ENERGY!

@Hilbe I’m still waiting for my center console organizer that never arrived with my order. Reached out to customer service multiple times and was last told they were shipping a replacement. That was ten days ago

FINALLY. 10 days from order placed to shipment from the new Rivian Gear Shop with $300 free shipping. So much for the "2-3 business day" promise. If you're planning on ordering Christmas presents for your loved ones off the Gear Shop, order sooner rather than later. In fact, maybe go ahead and order the things today.

@BeardedTesla In terms of Tesla’s expectations of the vehicle sales, it is a failure. No doubt that the final price played a factor, but the Cybertruck also failed to meet almost all the announced specifications as well.

I keep seeing this narrative floating around, and while I am disappointed in CT volume, the truck is too expensive. But to say it’s a failure? The CT will continue to far outsell the R1T, yet there’s no talk about that being a failure. You know why? Because it isn’t.

Here are my estimates on average sales price (ASP) on Rivian’s midsized platform (MSP) vehicles. I know some of you will be unhappy. R3: $50,000 R2: $60,000 R3X: $75,000 Keep in mind these prices include options and what customers would actually pay - not the base price - on average.

@cybrtrkguy Scenario 5: complete redesign to lower cost and make it appeal to a larger consumer base. The Cybertruck would have sold better if they had just stuck with the original specs. Even if there was a price increase of $10-20k over original announced prices.

Tesla has 4 options to solve Cybertruck pricing/demand 🫡 And it’s not rocket science. 📐 Scenario 1: Tesla strips Cybertruck down to the bone and sell for cheaper, like RWD. Hopefully, a $10-15k lower price will move more units, but how many? Who knows. Perhaps we see the death of rear axle steering. 📐 Scenario 2: Tesla drastically lowers their profit margin and gets Cybertruck AWD down to $70k as-is. This is the least complicated scenario that could relieve the pressure from affordability post-tax credit removal. 📐 Scenario 3: Tesla makes Cybertruck MORE expensive and introduces a higher range trim package. 200kWh battery at ~$90-100k. Fill the void left by Range Extender. 📐 Scenario 4: Tesla does nothing and bets the house on their 2022-2023 market research on trim & pricing. Ideally, this is paired with some education & marketing activations to get Cybertruck in more places and place more butts in seats. Personally, I believe Scenario 2 is the most likely, especially now that Foundation Series is deprecated from the sales pipeline. In any case, the polarization and politicalization of the brand has made it especially difficult for commercial/fleet customers to buy into the product. Sure, it’s a better product, but what if I get a flood of 1-star Google Reviews because of it? Silverado EV is probably better for us. Tesla has a huge mountain to climb to get Cybertruck back to baseline for individual and commercial customers alike. Advertising, education, events, and public displays of ability are key to winning customers over Lightning, Sierra, R1T, Silverado, and Hummer— pricing and trim helps, but butts in seats continues to prove itself as a useful strategy. Viva la Cybertruck!!
