Today I launched @builtfordevs on Product Hunt. 🎉 I built this by productizing a service that drove the greatest results I've ever seen in my career. Real developers screen recorded themselves naturally trying a client's dev tool—no scripts, no hand-holding. Those recordings shaped findings reports that told founders exactly what was broken and what to fix. One client fixed a few friction points and hit Product Hunt #1 product of the day and week. Another completely pivoted their market using insights from 10 developer segments. The service was such a success that it became a platform. Continuous journey tracking, real developer evaluations, and an AI engine that analyzes every data point including video and recommends exactly what to fix. If you're a #devtool founder watching developers sign up and disappear—this is for you. producthunt.com/products/built…

if you use @vercel free plan, they now train their AI on your code by default 😱 madness

I just want someone to be as obsessed with me as Matt is with WP Engine 😍

No one cares, literally no one complained when a8c stopped contributing. In fact, many people were happy the pace slowed to a reasonable rate. RTC is a total waste. Only benefits WPVIP news clients you forced that on everyone to keep their contracts

@DeveloperSteve I resign and what happens to 85-90% of all the new code in 7.0? We tried this last year when @automattic paused contributions. Everything froze.

Why do AI models regress so much after release? Are we just not testing them thoroughly enough and getting excited? Are they changing the model behind the scenes? Limiting compute? What is it?

@Adobe @nvidia Fuck me! Stop putting AI in the app and start getting AI to fix your shitty app before one of us does it for you and undercuts your product!

Everyone talks about how good AI agents are at writing code. But where's the actual software? Share your best example below.

Now I'm getting the hang of Claude Code, today I created a plugin which sends our accountant an anonymized export of our sales and renewals each month. It's only a small time-saver, but avoids a team member needing to download sensitive data to their computer.

@samgoodwin89 Once upon a time, people liked drinking the AWS cool-aid. Then AWS stopped serving it and now they are trying to ride marketshare whilst changing a mega corp into a lean AI org and failing hard.

Have been building resources for deploying websites to AWS and OH MY GOD CloudFront is hot garbage compared to Cloudflare. 10+ minutes to deploy vs ~1s. Do people really want to deploy websites to AWS?

@imbradmiller @vinnysgreen @filamentphp I really wanted WP to keep up with this phase, its just not going to because it would literally mean killing off the plugin ecosystem (which has been a selling point). Its dead in the water IMO and he knows it.

@imbradmiller @vinnysgreen Where I can, theres so many experienced folks that have contributed to it and continue to do so too. Its literally been waiting for this moment to be able to use it like this. Also @filamentphp v5 means there is reusable backend/admin and is literally magically.
