We planted this new hedge 9 years ago and are delighted that this week the laying has started! I’m loving seeing it done and know I’m not alone - good for the hedge, the wildlife, the farm and the soul!

@ARoss_farm Yes but why buy semi skimmed milk in the first place? If you want milk get whole milk. Semi skimmed has become a national fad and obsession. Skimmed is even worse.

The shift to @PastureForLife certified system for beef at @BalbirnieFarm has significantly reduced costs (by thousands!) but has not reduced output per hectare 👏 @ORFC

56 parking spaces, 56 chargers in place. Even those that don’t run EVs contributed to this as per parking space, the cost was £75. Future proofed 👌🏼

@jtchivers It's because they have lost the argument and don't have the intellectual capacity to cope.

Why do people block when you're having a reasonable conversation, just because you present facts which counter their assertions? Isn't having one's ideas challenged with evidence an opportunity to take on new information and reconsider positions. I've changed my mind on many things over the years when presented with new evidence. It's not a personal attack when someone presents evidence - just an opportunity to reconsider our own positions. Nobody is omniscient and has all the right answers! I didn't name-call. I was actually toning down my earlier tone, because I thought @Lazzard59 was engaging quite reasonably. Ahh well.
John Chivers@jtchivers

You really need to check things, Larry. The combined percentage vote share of Con+UKIP in 2015 was 49.5%. The total vote share for Lab+SNP+Lib Dem+Green was 46.8%, so even if they'd managed to concoct a back-room negotiation between the four parties (highly unlikely), they wouldn't have had the numbers to form a government. In contrast, a Con+UKIP coalition would have been far easier to negotiate. UKIP would have almost certainly made it conditional on an EU referendum, which, as we know, happened anyway. The SNP got 8.6% of the seats for 4.7% of the vote, by the way, so it was massively overrepresented proportional to national vote share. UKIP, in contrast, gained 0.1% of the seats for their 12.6% share of the national vote share and were by far the hardest done by, thanks to FPTP.

@Scooff @FullyChargedShw Clearly you don't want one then. Just leave it to those who will appreciate it Oh and try to remember that not everyone has the same experience so what doesn't suit you will be fine for someone else. They may even be able to manage to press a button each time they want to drive

I've driven one several times and it could be a great second car for small trips but there are 2 deal breakers for me: 1. While spacious on the front seats, it's really uncomfortable (driving position and seat comfort). 2. Lane keep assist is extremely unreliable and dangerous and can be disabled but only before each drive. It almost had me crash twice on straight roads with random strong steering off the road... Did Fiat even try their car?
