Let's shut the bathroom thing down. For my young daughter, I have no issues with taking her in the men's room. If I'm with her in the women's bathroom with her, there's a reason. Your opinion on it is irrelevant to me. I'm her father, and that trumps your opinion or comfort.

It clearly matters to you. You should make sure you are asking clarifying questions to the father before you decide if you're outraged or not. It it like a pass/fail thing, or is there a grading curve?

There's some serious reading comprehension issues here. IF I'M IN THE WOMEN'S RESTROOM WITH MY 5 YEAR OLD DISABLED DAUGHTER, THERE IS A VALID REASON. IT IS NOT MY FIRST CHOICE, BUT NECESSARY IF IT IS THE CHOICE I MADE. I WOULD HAVE, AND HAVE, TAKEN HER INTO THE MEN'S ROON WHEN POSSIBLE. Hopefully the all caps makes this easier to grasp.

This is a silly take. If he can clear the womens, why can't he wait till the mens is clear? And if its not, what could possibly happen with dad there? You are implying your husband cant protect your daughter from other men when hes right there and that's a problem.

@FlintRiverForge @pickleballbp @therobbieharvey We have kids too and the women's toilets are cleaner and less exposed. My husband took our daughter into the women's toilets when there was no separate family/baby changing room or separate disabled toilet.He always asked and was never told no.

Got sucked into the debate on the dad with his daughter in the women's bathroom. He should have taken her into the men's bathroom, full stop. And for all the people saying they would never want their 3-year-old daughter in a bathroom with men... The stalls have doors, you know. She's not just on display. Fast forward a few years, and your same logic holds with the opposite effect. Imagine that your daughter is now a teenager. Do you want her in the bathroom with a bunch of men, just because they happened to have their young kids with them? By the logic people are using, you have to pick a poison. Except it's not really a poison because the kid is behind closed doors!

@FlintRiverForge @pickleballbp @therobbieharvey 4 daughter dad here. We always made sure our girls were in women’s restrooms. I have stood guard at female restrooms many times for my girls. No way my girls go into a men’s room with its filth and exposed urinals. My girls agree and continue that process today with their kids.
