Hi @ScotRail, why does your service from Edinburgh to Aberdeen always seem to be standing room only?
Given the cost of travel is it really too much to expect to be able to get a seat (reservations were not an option)?

If you make a joke at the Army's or Navy's expense, they don't get offended.
If you make a joke that merely references the RAF (don't even have to make them the punchline) you soon learn that Crabs can be split into two camps. The first get very upset, the second are good eggs.

On the tired trope of 'the Navy has more Admirals than ships', I'd like to point out the RAF has far more Squadron Leaders than there are Squadrons that need leading.

Did a (MEWP/Cherrypicker) Cse with a couple of them a few years back so they could access high rooftops for this purpose/role.

@AndyAitcheson This is what we WERE for and the Labour Gov of 2005 decided that gBAD was for the Army and SHORAD was the limit of any requirement. The cUAS role is a start but give it back to us & we would smash it. Cos we knew how to do it.

Look on the bright side, things can only get better. Defence is in the national spotlight, blame is being rightly spread across all political parties (from what I can see), and people are seeing first hand what a lack of depth looks like

Both idiotic and offensive. Of course the U.S. was nowhere to be seen when Denmark fell to the Nazis. The whole point of NATO and the post-World War II order was to prevent that from happening again. And it did. Now Trump is blowing it up. Which will lead to aggression, and war.

@RymerAbbie Posts like this make me further appreciate the sacrifices my wife made to give up work when our children were tiny. Being in Hohne with limited opportunities helped influence this too but child care costs are off the reservation.
