The green onions in a windowsill tub I cut to 8" a couple weeks ago because they were 3 feet tall are almost 3 feet tall again. Wow.

I just ran an errand and grabbed a cheese stick as I was walking out the door. I ate it my car while still parked. No one begged. No one looked at me with sad puppy eyes. No one drooled on my lap. It was the best cheese stick ever.

@EllieGAnders That's a fantastic deal. I usually see them at $6 or more. You can plant the tops and they'll grow plants then pineapples. And you can ferment the scraps into a delicious drink called tepache. Or just enjoy them and take a nap instead.

This pineapple seems a little bigger than the ones I usually buy. It's over 6 lbs. and cost me 89¢. I eat the core too because there's a lot of health benefits.

I am in so much pain right now my brain isn’t working correctly. Just a few minutes ago, the screen on my phone was too bright, so I turned down the volume. It took way too long for me to realize why it didn’t work.

@ReginaRoper8 Anise seed is good but annual. Same for fennel, which makes great tea. Star anise is good too. Got some seeds but it's a tree. Very long term project at best. Might live long enough. But it is perennial. Maybe I should just plant fennel in the yard and let it go to seed.

@JackDozerSlappy I use anise seed in cookie. Some flavor but not a lot. There is a ‘start anise’ you might try.

Not so keen on anise hyssop. Haven't tried drying it yet but so far fails any claim of anise flavor. Hasn't flourished under conditions proven herbs love. Trying another variety before I replace it. Looking for perennial licorice flavor with no digging roots.
