Rudy Gobert is not the same defender he was years ago. He is declining, and it's okay. If the coaching staff realized this, Rudy wouldn’t get exposed as much as he does. We just shouldn’t put 33+ minutes a game on him like we do. His knees are not the same; he barely blocks shots or gets off the ground anymore. 20-25 minutes for a more efficient and effective Rudy Gobert.

Terrence Shannon Jr. is showing something. Wolves have a lot to consider this summer, but it feels like a healthy TJ is very capable breaking out as a 6th man in a higher usage bench role.
It’s great to see him have success, this year had gone about as bad as it could possibly have. He finally looks himself again and it’s exciting to watch.
I don’t know if he consistently plays in these playoffs, but it’s great momentum to carry into this summer and next season.

@TimGarrisonMN I was calling for Donte to be trading and keep NAW the whole time. When we talk about asset management, there have been massive missed by Connelly. That's not to take away from a lot of the good he's done... But top GMs don't let players walk when there's better options. NAW>DDV

I thought there was a ton of overlap with Donte and Naw. They are both 2 guards through and through with some varied capacity to play up at the 1.
It often resulted with us miscasting NAW as Jaden’s backup at the 3 where he did struggle to guard bigger wings.
It felt as if you couldn’t continue with both, and you had to pick one. Nobody, and I mean nobody could dispute that it was a very close call preference wise no matter which player you liked better. Donte was already under contract, which always made it difficult to see a pathway for NAW.
Taking what NAW is doing this year and undergoing revisionist history to say we should’ve let Naz go to keep NAW is completely ignoring the reason NAW was not retained, it always between him or Donte.
None of you were trying to get rid of Naz to keep NAW last summer. So let’s just stop with the hindsight goggles and remember what the actual decision was.
